What's the quickest way to send a parcel as I don't have much time?

If you're a business owner then the process is incredibly simple - you just connect your processes to our systems and then whenever somebody purchases from you your courier collection will be booked for you. Essentially this is a 'click and send' service. 

Now, if you wish just to send occasional parcels, even a few more if you sell via eBay the process might not be as simple as the above option, but it is still significantly more simple that phoning up a courier to open an account. We've spent significant amount of time streamlining the courier booking process, as well as ensuring our prices are very attractive. 

OK, so what's the process? Surely I can still 'click and send'?

Booking online with us is more of a few clicks, strokes of a few keys on your keyboard and you're there. Here is a step-by-step guide to process of getting your parcel shipped to its destination:

1. Visit the quote page here - this gives you a very short form with the most pertinent information to give you a price. Just select which country you would like your parcel to be sent to. The UK is the most popular destination so we've listed that first. We've then listed the next most popular destinations and then below those an alphabetic list of all countries or regions we ship too. UK destinations such as Shetland Islands or the Isles of Scilly are listed separately for your convenience. However, should you select 'UK' and use a Shetland Isles postcode you will still be shown the relevant prices.

2. Select which service you would like - we break these down to the core types of service. You can choose from:

   1. UK Mainland Next Day - these are services where your parcel is scheduled to delivered to mainland destinations the day after collection.
   2. Drop-off Services - these are where you either drop off your parcel at a courier's depot or at a parcel delivery locker of your choosing. The former option will have the parcel delivered to the named address whilst the later will be sent to another locker for the recipient to collect from.
   3. Timed Services - here you can specify if you would like the parcel to be delivered by 9 am, 10 am or 12pm on the next weekday. You can also choose 1pm on a Saturday.
   4. 2 Day Services - these are delivery options at a reduced price than a next day service by the same courier.
3. Select the collection and delivery address - if you've chosen a door to door delivery then here you add the collection and delivery address. If you've bought from us before then you can store addresses to make the process even quicker. If you have selected a door-to-door service but would actually like to drop it off at the courier's depot then you can quickly switch using the "want to drop at a depot" button. If you've selected the box-to-box service it in the previous page then you will see postcode boxes to select which locker to drop off your parcel and which locker the recipient can collect it from.We also help make this process quicker by having an address lookup tool. Just add in your postcode and we'll offer a list of possible addresses. This means you have to type less in and also we minimise the risk of incorrect addresses being used.
4. Additional information
   1. Collection date - on the same page you can select when you would like your parcel collected - up to a week in advance.
   2. Package contents - we need to make sure that what you are sending complies with the courier's list of prohibited items and our list.
   3. Carriage Guarantee cover - if your item is valued at more than the free amount of cover then you must include it for the full amount.
   4. Notes for the driver - here you can say something like: "the doorbell doesn't work so, please knock on the front window" etc.
   5. Terms and conditions and other legal bits - on the same page we insist that you read our terms and conditions, privacy policy and restricted items list - as well as confirm you understand other notices we display on the page.
5. Confirm your order - here you review the information of where the parcel is being collected, where it’s going, the dimensions, the collection date, the contents of the parcel, the value of the goods and notes to driver. If you are happy then click "Confirm and Add to Cart", otherwise amend your order.
6. Your Shopping Cart - here you can add more parcels or proceed to the checkout.
7. Checkout - here you can proceed via our secure payments system or the secure option of PayPal (if it is available on your order).

Is there anything else I should know?

We do need to make it clear that you should double, treble check all the information you submit with your booking. We also should make sure that all parcels and packages booked via us are packed to withstand the rigors of the parcel delivery network. Simply placing items into a thin cardboard box with no additional packing such as bubble wrap or other, may cause issues when your parcel arrives at its destination. 

Finally ...

We would say this, but the process is much easier than it reads above. Each screen is clearly laid out. We describe why need the information we do and don't ask for any unnecessary pieces of information.
