DPD Classic specialises in the delivery of parcels to Europe, handling over 2.5 million parcels a day. Their fleet of 26,000 vehicles operates direct overnight links between 60 International road hubs and 800 depots in over 20 European countries.
If you book a DPD Classic courier online they will come and collect the parcel from your home or work address between 8 am and 6 pm. DPD do often text you an hour collection window prior to collection so you know approximately when they are due to make the collection.
DPD Classic is affordable but is also a premium courier service, using the latest DPD tracking technology.
You and the recipient can download the DPD app and get updates throughout the delivery, plus enjoy the 'in-flight' options so that you can change the delivery details to match your needs. Maybe the recipient won't be home so they can request delivery to a neighbour or to a local DPD Pickup store.

You can send items up to 30kg in weight via DPD. Do not attempt to send any items that contain batteries, as they are prohibited items and will be returned by DPD.

Parcel Monkey is an easy and efficient and price competitive company to use. I completed the forms and parcel was collected on time and would ve been delivered on time in France had post Brexit usual customs rubbish not intervened. Meaning there was a charge when it arrived ( dont even know what for) that could not be paid by the recipient for some reason and I wasnt informed either- except by the recipient. Thus I have had to order from Amazon and let them apply any charges at the start. Bought the gift twice over ! Not Parcel Monkeys fault but if there are hidden charges to be applied, I cant risk sending like this again.
