How Do I Print Off My Label?

For the vast majority of our customers, the delivery labels for your order are emailed almost instantly, for others it may take ten minutes or so - about enough time to make a cuppa and check if we've been tagged in any photos on Facebook. 

But how do you get those labels?

Well, the labels will be emailed to the email address you've registered with. But you can also log in and visit the My Shipments page. Here you'll see a list of your orders and to the right, you'll see a printer icon next to the relevant order. Simply click on it and print off your label and attach safely and securely to your parcel.

How Do I Know If I'll Need A Printer?

A rule of thumb is that DHL, DPD and most international shipments need a printer but Parcelforce and DX domestic services don't. City Sprint is a Same Day courier and as generally they simply come to collect your parcel and then take it direct to the recipient, so there is no label required but you can, of course, attach the Parcel Monkey optional one if you wish. 

When you fill out the quote form, there will be an icon next to each service level that will inform you if you'll need to print out a label. If you have any doubts contact our Live Chat support team who you can contact on your account homepage or raise a support ticket.

We advise that if you are sending multiple parcels with the couriers Parcelforce and DX, to use the optional labels we provide and secure them to the box. This helps when the collection driver comes and they can see the correct PM order number on the correct parcel, plus the address the parcel is due to go to. 

Are There Ever Problems?

Of course, but the worse that can happen with the order process is that the shipping labels sometimes "get stuck" with our partners. This is a rarity, and we have procedures to spot them and to flush them through if it did happen. Keep an eye on your account homepage, if the label does not come through, it will advise if there is an error, then contact us via Live Chat or a Help ticket and we will come to the rescue!

Please be aware, at peak times they can take up to 10 minutes to appear. 

How should I attach the shipping label?

It is very important that you attach the shipping label securely to the parcel, and another tip is to write the delivery address and PM number on the box as well in case of the label coming off in transit. Be sure that the whole address is visible for the courier to see where the shipment is going.
