One of the greatest issues that courier companies face is the quality and effectiveness of packaging used by those sending the parcels through the various networks. On more occasions than we'd like, we do become aware of parcels that haven't been packaged correctly - such as printers placed in a cardboard box with no bubble wrap or internal packaging of any kind. When those parcels break they typically only inconvenience the recipient of the parcel, and potentially also the courier network themselves
When it comes to liquids, this is a different matter as any breakages can spoil other parcels going through the system at the same time. This problem is apparently compounded when the damage involves a bottle of wine because wine stains.
As a result, we'd be grateful if customers don't attempt to send any liquids via our courier network.
We're sorry about that, but we have to consider our customers as a whole.
