The Bahamas, officially called the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, are a collection of more than three thousand islands, islets and cays in the Atlantic Ocean to the north of the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Cuba. Although the Bahamas have strong connections with the United Kingdom after becoming a Crown Colony in 1718, they are now an independent, sovereign state, although they do share Queen Elizabeth II as their monarch. There is also a heavy American influence due to being just a short flight from Miami, Florida.

The Bahamas is another island that is iconic for its booming tourism trade. The Bahamas enjoys hot weather all year round with a variety of different cruise ships visiting the island weekly. However, the island is vulnerable to hurricanes which can be extremely dangerous in the summer and autumn. The national language in the Bahamas is English as the island was a British Colony.
The island is located near Cuba and the USA and provides many different Americans with a short break away with little distance to travel. The country deals in the Bahamian dollar with $1 converting into £0.62.
The economy in the Bahamas relies on tourism a lot. 60% of the country's GDP is in the tourism industry and more than half of the countries jobs are produced through tourism. The country also exports polystyrene which is also a big source of income for the island.

Relatively easy website.
It would have been better if the Consignee had first phoned the number you had to check if/when anyone would present at the delivery address to receive the parcel since it was a private address.
Instructions are really easy to follow. No faffing about!
Good service and easy to use the website, but be warned if you dont give accurate measurements for your item they will charge your card afterwards-my item was 200g over and I was charged a full kilo extra so just be aware of this.
Very easy to use and parcel arrived on time. Will definitely use again.
More and more I had labels not clear, my postage happens on Fridays 5 pm and I end up having to wait til Monday, missing my Etsy cut off for my orders tracking notes. This error message started causing me to lose credibility points with my customers and Etsy score. The time I post, is due to a series of factors and I do not see why its so hard to have labels instantly or reply until 8pm if the MonkeyParcel service is open until 8pm. When I asked what I can do different to avoid the labels not generating, I get no reply. I mainly used UPS via Parcel monkey, my impression in the past was that they have a solid reliability. This week i spent 3 days waiting in from 8-6 for UPS to come and collect a parcel to was too large to drop off with my usual shop, according to them. Not showing up, giving me full day pick up windows, in this day and age of tech and precision it’s just not ok. I now booked RM via a different broker and they gave me the morning off from window staring, having a 4 hour afternoon slot, which is great because, I am in desperate need to get to the supermarket after being stuck at home for all those days. I think my case is made that my loyalty has run thin and I am changing providers.
