The information we have, and you'll need to double check this, is that raw ham from Portugal and Italy prohibited from import into Peru - it's also restricted in our general list as its a food stuff.
Furthermore, cheese, mutilated maps of Peru, used clothing and used shoes are prohibited from import.
The Peruvian government doesn't make a list of prohibited items readily available, you could visit the SIICEX Integrated Foreign Trade Information website.
We can generally help you send a parcel to Peru and the major cities of Arequipa, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Piura, Iquitos, Cusco, Chimbote, and Huancayo for £24.99 for a 1kg parcel within 4-6 days via DPD. A much heavier parcel, say 20kg will cost about £104, delivered in 3-4 days.

After receiving poor service from Royal Mail sending a package to South America, I decided to use another service (Parcel Monkey UK). Paid a similar price and was delivered within the stated time. Except for having to print some of the shipping stickers and attaching them, it is a good service to use.
