Here are some examples of prices to send a parcel to Tanzania. We have many options, so for a personalised quote please enter the weight of your item into the quote box below.
The United Republic of Tanzania is a large country on the Eastern coast of central Africa boarded by the Indian Ocean and the countries of Kenya, Uganda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique.
Just as Iran has an incredibly lengthy and abundant heritage, Tanzania is often regarded as one of the oldest inhabited regions of Earth.
Currently, the economy is very much an agricultural affair which accounts for over half of the country's economic production and three quarters of its exports and employment. In recent years natural gas has become more important to the nation, but it is still firmly centred on agriculture.
Sending parcels to Tanzania has in recent time becomes a lot more affordable especially for customers who book via the Parcel Monkey quote engine. We work with a wide range of international shipping services from providers such as DHL, Asendia and our very own Parcel Monkey Air Express.
Currently, using DHL Air Express, a small 1kg parcel would cost approximately £65 for an express international delivery arriving in just 2-3 working days plus if you book any service with Parcel Monkey you can track to delivery, so, therefore, you can enjoy full DHL tracking if required.
If you want a quick but more cost-effective courier service to Tanzania, a great choice would be Parcel Monkey Air Express which arrives in just a day or two later time frame than DHL, but for almost half the price of DHL Express!
This is because the goods are collected from your home or work address in the UK by a courier such as Parcelforce, who then take to a Freight Forwarder at Heathrow who processes the goods out of the country and onto Tanzania. The final mile of delivery will be completed by DHL. This service too comes fully tracked, just add your Parcel Monkey full number into our tracking tool.
A larger parcel would cost more as it takes more room up in the couriers next work but we still aim to keep the costs down for you, and will often have some of the cheapest international shipping rates. Choosing the Parcel Monkey Air Express service for 10kg parcel would cost in the region of £67 to send to Dar es Salaam and more rural localities in Tanzania.
Even if your parcel weighs in excess of 30kg we still offer a great rate via our own Air Express service or you can opt to book DHL Air Express for a speedier transit time.
Parcel Monkey can also help you out with a customs documents, it is built into our booking process so you just have to fill out the details accurately at the time of placing the order, print the documents out with the label and hand over to the courier when they come to collect.

Excellent service with very competitive pricing
DHL CHARGED SOME AMOUNT AS WELL. There was a hidden charge which until now I dont know what it was all about. Apart from customs which was said before but DHL charged some unexplainable amount and they couldnt find Airway bill from Friday until today. So the parcel will be delivered at home address tomorrow, they said. And also when asked about the charge they said it pops up as an extra charge which they think it could be for DHL. AT LEAST WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED THIS WILL HAPPEN IN ORDER TO GET READY FOR SUCH THINGS. Any ways its an experience but the service us good and will do it again
Parcel tracking is the worst I have had but parcel did reach on time. It was very difficult to track my parcel as your website had no tracking information and I had to work it out that parcelforce just delivered to Norsk depo. Norsk website tracking was awful.
need a phone number so if you having a parcel that has not find it difficult to get to know how to find out as you do not email as soon as p
