As Ukraine ponders their desire to be included in the European Union, there are some import restrictions you should be aware of when looking to send a parcel to Ukraine. You will need to provide Customs Documents and attach them to the outside of your parcel in a clear plastic wallet or envelope marked Customs.
It is also essential to provide a working local contact number for the recipient in case there is an issue making the delivery or if Customs require Customs Duty to be paid.
These include the prohibiting of cheques, cash, credit cards or passports through the mail system and into the country. There are import duties that range from 0% to 50%. Furthermore, there are restrictions on items such as paper with watermarks and sugar.

great service only had one problem and i not sure it was parcel monkeys fault. my package made it to ukrain but was stoped there at the border as no one told us we cant send more than 150 pounds worth of items throu customs there. so the recipiant had to pay 50 pound to be able to collect there parcel . i would have expected to be told this when i was asked by parcel monkey how much my parcel was worth and that i cant send it there so be very carfull sending parcels to ukrain dont send more than 150 pounds worth of items in one box and dont send more than 3 a month or they will be destroyed. parcel monkey you really need to update your service with current custom checks when taking parcels to deliver to different countrys
