If you are sending a parcel within the UK and you cannot guarantee to be available at home or work during usual collection hours then you may wish to use a drop off facility at a courier depot. Due to its location the only reasonable option customers in Hull have is to take their parcel to the City Link depot in Scunthorpe which is open from 8am to 8pm during the week. The closest Parcelforce depot is about 45 miles away to the north east of York.
Another option, if you aren't going to be available during the day is to take your parcel to the ByBox secure parcel delivery locker site which is located at the Hull Self Storage building on Therm Road just to the north of the city as you head north on Cleveland St (A1165) towards Bransholme.
For customers sending a parcel abroad and you still have the option of dropping off your pre-paid and labelled parcel at any of the 37 post offices located within 6 miles of the city centre including the branches at Market Place, Prospect Centre, Holderness Road, Beverley Road and Hessle Road.

This is the 3rd time we have used this service 2 for uk parcels and one to an EU country. One issue remains that the person/s at Bridle Road Croydon signed themselves (illiterate yobs) signed themselves as XP1. not very clever. I hope it wasnt the driver!
