There is a handful of Post Offices in and around the centre of Leicester including the Highcroft, London Road, St Mathews, Wood Hill, Parkvale, Evington Road, Clarendon Park, Imperial Avenue and Westcodes. These locations are open to customers who would want to book online to save money on their parcel delivery with Parcelforce. If your item is too heavy to drop-off at the Post Office whilst at work you could make the trip out towards Junction 21a of the M1 to the Parcelforce depot that is just south of the Western Park Golf Course. You can also drop parcels to be delivered within the UK there.
Recently we have connected with DPD to offer customers looking to send packages with the UK the opportunity to drop their items off at a range of independent and large retailers. Within 2.1 miles of the city centre, you can find nine of these locations, including King's News at 11 Kings Street, which is 0.2 miles from the city centre. There are other locations such as the Halford's store can be found to the south along Putney Road while two other locations can be found to the north of Frog Island at Halfords and Blackbird News.
The great thing about the DPD service is that you can often make use of extended opening hours during the week which should give you the opportunity to drop off your items before or after work. Furthermore, many are open at weekends so if you're an eBay retailer, then you can pack your sales on a Saturday morning and then drop them off at your convenience.
