Although typically our customers arrange for a courier to take a collection of parcels at a prescribed address, we understand that a broad time of collection on a given day isn't of use to some you. This may be because you work nights and don't want to be awoken by the courier, or if you're on call and could be out at the time the courier will call. To help you with this we have arranged with some of our courier partners the opportunity for you to take your parcels to your local courier depot instead of waiting in. During the booking process, you will be asked if you would like to do this and given a list of depots - which can be seen on the map below.
At the time of writing one of the services is also available to be dropped-off at any of the several hundred Post Office branches in the county. This is available to customers that have booked any of the Parcelforce international services.
If you did wish to take your parcel to a depot, it is would be obviously advantageous to take it to the closest. The details of these depots can be found on the map. Interestingly if you live on the east or southern edges of the county, then the nearest depot is likely to be outside of the county. If you lived on the Norfolk side of Wisbech, perhaps in Outwell or West Walton, then your nearest depot may be in Peterborough. Similarly, if you lived in Southern then it likely that Cambridge would be your best option. And the same could be the same for residents of Diss or Scole, who may find themselves working out that the Parcelforce depot in Ipswich is closer than the one in Norwich.
We are currently working on producing detailed information incorporating Post Office and Depot locations for these cities, towns, and villages:
