 If you are looking to book a parcel to be delivered either within the UK or abroad by Parcelforce then during that purchasing process you will have the option to elect to either have it collected from a specified address in the city of Aberdeen or drop it off at the Depot to the south of the city, between The Wellington pub on Wellington Road and the Calder Park Redmoss in Aberdeen. You will have to travel on the A956 and turn off at the Makro store and then turn right on to the Wellington Circle - heading north.

If you have booked Parcelforce to send a parcel abroad or even domestically now, you also have the opportunity to drop it off at a Post Office near to you. During the booking process you will be asked to submit your post code and then this will show you your closest Post Offices - simply choose which is the most convenient to you.

Within the boundaries of the sea, the rivers Dee and Don and the A90 there are now three new drop-off locations which mean that you can now use the economical and reliant DPD courier service in the city. Just to the south of the centre you have the Ferryhill pharmacy which is open weekdays from 9am to 5pm with an hour closed for lunch - they also open from 9am to 1pm on Saturdays. The Rowlands Pharmacy as you head north on George Street (near to the A96) is open from 08:30 to 5:30pm as well as Saturday mornings and also Halfords just off Bedford road is open from 9am to 8pm during the week, 9am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 7pm on Sundays.

If you live even further out then you can take your parcels to the points in Inverurie and Ellon. When you go to book a parcel you can submit your post code and the closest drop-off locations will be shown to you.

The drop off locations should suit people that work during the week and may be able to drop off their parcels as they go into or out of work, or even at lunch time. Whilst if that's not possible the weekend opening hours should also suit.
