Newcastle is particularly well-served when it comes to Post Offices, and this could be of particular interest to those who work in the city centre and who have parcels to send.
Now for both international and domestic parcels we have teamed up with Parcelforce to give customers to arrange discounted deliveries online and then drop it off at a Post Office at a convenient time for them. For man customers, this is preferable than waiting in for collection. You can hand over your items at the Post Office on Northumberland Street, Westgate Hill, Fenham Road, Byker, Chilham, or, indeed any Post Office. You can select which one you would like to drop off at in the booking process.
Recently we have added a new DPD courier service that allows our customers to book in a delivery online and take it any of ten locations around the city. Your options include the Londis on Morpeth Steet - parallel to Claremont Road and the A167. Along West Road, to the west of the city, you can use the Premier Walkers Convenience Store. In Gosforth, there is also an Ashburton newsagents, close to where Ashburton Road meets the A191. Most of the drop-off points open until 8 or 9 pm, but please do check before you attempt a drop-off.
If you live in the elegant city of Newcastle Upon Tyne and have a parcel to send, then the options listed above are available to you as drop off services. These require the collection of your parcel from a particular address on a given date you specify during the booking process. Good company to work with.
This is the 3rd time we have used this service 2 for uk parcels and one to an EU country. One issue remains that the person/s at Bridle Road Croydon signed themselves (illiterate yobs) signed themselves as XP1. not very clever. I hope it wasnt the driver!
The process was seamless and the next day I had DPD here to pick up my parcel.
