Just is the case with Bolton, your two closest Parcelforce depots are located near to Preston or in Manchester. Given the relatively sparsely populated nature of much of the North West, many courier companies have decided to locate their depots close to the more densely populated conurbations of Manchester, Liverpool and Preston. We do, however, give you the opportunity to book a courier to collect your parcel or parcels from you - that may mean then visiting your home or even work place, it doesn't affect the courier - other than still needing reasonable access to take it from you.
If you do still need to drop your parcel off, but you cannot visit any of the distant depots, by either taking it to a local Post Office if your parcel is being shipped by one of Parcelforce's international services.
