Parcelforce has depots in localities around the county such as Bristol, Gloucester, Bournemouth, Poole, Southampton, Portsmouth and Basingstoke, which may be of use to customers who live at the edges of the county.
As Wiltshire is such a sparsely populated county most of the couriers have cited their depots nearer to the more densely cities in other counties. This means that instead of you driving out or taking public transport to a depot then you could request a courier visit you on a day you have previously specified during the booking process. Another option, which is only available to Parcelforce International customers, is that you can take your pre-booked parcel to one of the Post Office branches, and the counter staff will process it for you. They will use the label generated by our systems to ensure that the tracking is initiated. We have found this to be very popular with customers.
