Unless you work in either Bristol or Swindon, or, indeed, find yourself taking advantage of their fantastic shopping centres, then you are more than likely to arrange a courier to collect from you - purely as these courier depots operated by Parcelforce are so distant. To do this you would simply need to know the dimensions of your parcel, its contents, your preferred collection address and where it is to be delivered to. When you have that information to hand then you can use it to compare prices and then select which courier services are the most appropriate. The first list you will see are those parcel delivery options which are collectively the most popular across all of our customers. You do, however, have the option to choose from the wider range options such as 'next day', 'same day', 'timed' and 'drop off'. This last tab will not only show you the details of those depots that may be a touch too distant for you, but will also include an option to drop off your parcel at a Post Office.
This Post Office depot option will only be shown if you are sending your parcel abroad. It is operated by Parcelforce and simply requires the same information as a parcel being sent within the UK, but additionally, if your parcel is being sent outside of the EU, then you may be required to list the items within the parcel, their cost.
You can now drop off at the DPD Pickup store in Matalan, Unit 1A, Trowbridge Retail Park, Trowbridge. This is open from 9am to 8pm Monday to Saturday so convenient for many of our customers in this area who want to save money by using DPD Pickup services.

Great way to find the best way and prices to send parcels abroad. The only negative really was to do with the amount of customs charges the person I was sending the package to (which was a gift) had to pay. It would have been nice to know this in advance or there was a way that I could have paid. I also think the charges were outrageous. Gifts (which were new baby clothes) cost less than £150 to buy and the customs was £42 on top. This left a bad taste in my mouth. Incidentally the package was being sent to Denmark.
