I’ve used Parcel Monkey a few times and it really is hit or miss, and mainly miss. They have failed to collect parcels on a couple of occasions and refuse to take responsibility. Their customer service falls short of what is expected. They will never offer any type of compensation and are very dismissive. Go with a more reputable/reliable courier service, especially if you have a time constraint.

Very efficient service... Last minute booking from my side. Parcel was picked up the next morning and delivered the day after. Will certainly use their services again. Satisfied customer !!!!

Don’t use. They take no responsibility for their actions and you can’t talk to anyone only on chat and they pretty ignorant. Spend a few more quid and go directly to the courier so you could be more confident that your parcels will arrive.

Service normally good. This time 3 days late, I know all about the shortage of drivers but a message to say sorry delivery will be later than expected would be nice. With an estimated day.

Used Parcel Monkey to send DHL delicate parcel to the US. It was picked up from my home and delivered to its destination in about 48 hours, it arrived perfectly intact. Great service.

When returning to amazon a battery which regular carries wont take Amazon advise using Parcel Monkey but there was no options for hazardous goods and as Amazon provide limited information the form could not be completed properly, i.e. Amazon telephone number is not available so the required entry had to be 00000000000 to make the form completable. Etc. Not good or well thought out.

As at July 28th: Item was handed to Post Office on July 13th, ref CK245688072GB. It then spent a week preparing for export with no movement or data. Over a week ago it was Exported but no further info is available. We have tried asking Parcel Force who are most callous and simply say that, as it was arranged via Parcel Monkey, we need to talk to you only – this despite the fact that Parcel Force are actually handling the parcel, not Parcel Monkey! We’ve had the usual lame excuse about Brexit and now Covid but other posted items have arrived overseas with no similar problems.

Posted a valuable item through there company with DPD and the item was returned to me with Parcel Force, item was returned damaged and boot marks on the parcel, rips in the box and the actual item damaged, i purchased the insured and submitted a claim, replied instantly with what i needed to fill out and provided pictures and proof, done that all okay and communication was very prompt, after a week i asked if they had heard anything and just received a automated message saying that they haven’t heard anything yet so i asked if they could chase it. Another automated reply and haven’t heard anything in about a month. I purchased the insurance so surely i am entitled to my compensation. What is the point in offfering a service that you aren’t going to fulfill. They don’t have a phone number either so impossible to get hold of someone.

I have been using Parcelmonkey for about 6 years to arrange delivery of turntables sold via eBay and have always found the service easy to use and totally reliable. I would highly recommend Parcelmonkey, especially for Parcelforce collections.

If I could do 0 I would!. On Wednesday I booked a parcel to be collected from us on Thursday for delivery to client Friday. At about 3.00 Thursday I contacted them to chase up collection, to be told the driver attempted collection but no one home. We are a business , open 7.30 - 4.30 and had all windows and doors wide open as it was so hot last week. So was then told they would book for collection the next working day ie Friday. On Friday at about 12.00 I contacted them again, as it hadnt been collected and I was getting twitchy, to be told no we dont have a collection in for you soonest we can do it Monday. After a heated discussion I cancelled and went to the post office instead, who delivered on time when they said they would. Will not be using Parcel Monkey again and will in future stick with the post office.
