This isnt a complaint about parcel monkey, this is a complaint against Parcelforce, a customer received one of my parcels today and the bloody scumbags mustve dropped it from 6 feet or thrown it so hard because of the damage to the item inside!!!!! scumbags , dont give a f*** about peoples valuables they just wanna throw the parcels around and kick them or drop them or whatever!!!!!

Would never use Parcel Monkey again and would recommend no one else does either. I paid for a 24hr service which took 48hrs to collect, then two weeks to deliver. When the parcel did finally arrive it was damaged beyond repair. This was a large pair of speakers that looked like they had been driven over. The insurance covers the agreed £50 for the product which I am still waiting for 3 months later. Not the £35 for the delivery??????? Customer service takes days to respond and are unstable to answer a question without having to contact someone else. I had to pay for a large parcel so that two delivery persons would collect the parcel due to the size and weight. But when this was finally collected, one of the drivers said he was only there to watch the other guy carry the parcels by himself and left him to it!?!?!?

Parcel shows as arriving in country and then all info relating to tracking lost.... never updated and no one actually resolved the query.

In the past Customer service and delivery of parcels have been fine. On this occasion I have reached a non-passe with Parcel Monkey. Yes, they reply promptly and politely to my e-mails BUT THEY DO NOT READ WHAT I SAY - I am trying to send books to Taiwan - their system says China does not accept books - Taiwan IS NOT part of China - it is its own state with its own President and Taiwan has always accepted books via Royal Mail. In despair I have even written to their CEO Nav Ramiah asking that they correct their "system" so that I can send out books via their courier service. I never even had the courtesy of an acknowledgement. I tried again via their contact us sending the full content of the e-mail again explaining that Taiwan is NOT China and I got the same benial answer telling me that Taiwan is China. All I can think is that China owns Parcel Monkey as they would like to take Taiwan back. I despair and my family are without some precious books. COVID keeps us apart.

With Brexit, you now need a pro forma invoice when sending parcels to France with each item needing a specific tax code. I spent over an hour twice trying to do this and when trying to finalise my order, it would automatically go back to the first booking page which is highly frustrating. I tried on the laptop and on my iPhone and used different browsers too. The customer service is all online, they are very quick to reply but there is no substance to any of said replies. Their advice was very much to keep on trying until it works while there are clearly issues with the system. It’s such a shame as I used them before Brexit and it all worked very well and the price was great but they clearly haven’t adapted to the new requirements. My advice if you’re sending personal belongings to France is to not use parcel monkey as you will waste your time and get very frustrated for nothing.

Booking a courier was very easy, all done online, select date of delivery. The labels are emailed and ready to go, no hassle of queueing in the post office.

So easy to book. Lots of pricing/service options.
Drop off at post office was seamless...couldnt have been better. Arrived at destination on time , very next morning. Price excellent.

I tried to go to UPS direct because i loved their service through you last time. The website was so convoluted that even thou i paid i could not find how to get the parcel collected or where customs forms were. I called their customs department and the UPS guy did not even know what EDI was. I came DIRECT BACK TO PARCEL MONKEY. I paid you instead. Very very easy. My parcel to morocco was delivered the very next day. BRAVO PARCEL MONKEY. Now i must wait 21 days for refund from UPS.

Parcel Monkey still has a distance to go to be excellent. The forms are not able to cope with international phone numbers and have text fields that do not accommodate long names and addresses. The labels and forms generated produce some strange results that I have had to amend myself to make them sensible. Apart from that, I shall continue to use Parcel Monkey.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Miss sold insurance...they never paid out to the full amount so a waste of money. Late collecting by 3 days (even though I paid for a next day service) and the package was delivered damaged. So it cost me more and got delivered late and damaged. When talking to them the response is a day behind and feels automated. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Dont believe all the 5 star review below, most of them are employees!

You pick up on time but the delivery to the destination is not always as quick as required. Furthermore you always charge me £1.49 after every shipment. Even when the parcel weight is right you will make it heavier to give the extra charge.

Parcel Monkey arranged the transportation of a heavy Anchor from Aberdeen to Somerset for me. Delivery took around 30 hrs and cost less than fifteen pounds, fully insured. I will have no hesitation in using Parcel Monkey next time.

Calculated a volumetric weight which took my parcel over the 30kg by 4 kg. Which incurred an additional £52 charge to my card. Original cost £11. Be careful folks!!

I have been using Parcel monkey for a while now and I have to say they are one of the best!
They get you the best deals, nothing ever gets lost, no problems, just book, pay, print the label, stick it on the parcel, job done!

I cant express my frustration with the services, when i tried to book a parcel collection, I followed all the instructions on the website and it gave me an indication that the parcel would be delivered between 3-4 days, I was mentally prepared for more than 7-8 days as the above was just an indication. However to my surprise the website stopped showing any more updates so i enquired and was then given a tracking code for Courier which was then indicating it would be delivered on the 28th of June. This already was upsetting as the parcel id sent was for a newborn nephew and i wanted it to be there as soon as possible. However I accepted this delay as well, and waited for the 28th, and I enquired on the day to make sure it was delivered. But again to my surprise, i was told the address was not matching and then the name was not matching and then there was a duty to be paid and even after I submitted the address and phone number of my cousin, the recipient 4-5 times, I kept receiving the same message "the address is not recognised", whereas there was no other address i could give. I kept asking for the courier service to contact my cousin (i had provided his contact number several times) but i kept getting the same message every time. And also not forgetting the extra duty applied on the parcel. For Gods sake if this is how sending a gift to a loved one is going to be, then not many people will use such services. I would never use this service ever again.
