This would have been a 5 star rating as the service on this end was perfect. However at the other end at my family home my brother was charged just as much to receive the parcel even though it was a gift I had sent and not a commercial transaction. Very disappointed as it turned out very expensive.

Overall experience was great! Its easy to find out how much the parcel will cost. Its also easy to follow steps in printing out the labels and locating the drop off point. Parcel tracking is clear. But the most important thing its the cheapest you can find.

If only this company lived up to its name. Monkeys would actually make a better job of running it. I have a parcel booked in for collection by DX. They have failed to collect on two consecutive days and now they have rescheduled collection for a third day, without trying to ascertain why DX are not collecting in the first place. I have only given one star as there is no option to leave none. See transcript of chat with agent below: Is anybody actually reading my messages? THIS PARCEL HAS TWICE BEFORE NOT BEEN COLLECTED. I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE THAT IT WILL BE COLLECTED TODAY. PLEASE CONTACT DX AND FIND OUT WHY THEY ARE NOT COLLECTING IT! I have been using PM for a number of time and had so far positive experiences. The only let down is BREXIT as it takes now much longer e.g. weeks until the parcel arrives at the receiving end and once my family had to pick it up from custom. Which was very time consuming , so well done Brexiteers, job well executed !

I paid the delivery charge and an additional Insurance Premium to cover loss or damage. Not only was the item late being delivered but also the packaging was ripped open and "wet" and the item inside badly damaged beyond repair. Having then contacted Parcel Monkey to submit a claim I completed the claim form and supplied photos of the damage and the state it arrived in together with a statement from the recipient. Despite chasing for updates on the progress of my claim over a 10 week period, and lots of excuses, I have now been told that my claim has been rejected because of "insufficient packaging", which is absolute nonsense. I am infuriated by their diabolic level of service and the fact that they now try to blame me for dropping the package and damaging it. An absolute disgrace.

Booked a parcel for collection from my home and delivery to UK.
Easy online process, selected a well known courier for next day collection and it worked out cheaper by about £4 than the couriers own website with all dimensions etc entered.
Delivered on time and with myself and recipient able to track.
Box was in perfect condition on delivery too.
Well done PM, likely Ill use You again as its easy to see price and service options.

I have used parcel monkey for a few years but they have got worse not picking up parcels on the day they say and then have to reprint labels waste of day in house and waste of ink also price changes once you get to checkout I put post codes and size in when getting quote but charges over £20 more at checkout saying it’s a remote area . also they charge extra once parcel is delivered saying it is slightly over the weight given and I posted 3 large parcels in same week to Australia and New Zealand and and twice they didn’t pick up on the day they said and when I contacted live chat they said it’s not a guaranteed pick up they said have to rebook you and have to reprint labels I asked if I would qualify for any sort of good will discount considering the amount of money I had spent and not picking up twice in the one week but no they were not interested which is a shame as as they used to be very good reliable but they don’t really care about losing customers who can stay at home 48hrs for parcel pick up not good

Words fail me. International transport to Italy. Commercial invoices provided, all VAT numbers/names addresses etc. Twice rejected by the customs - however all information provided to PM and all paperwork requested placed on the parcels. They then email to tell us of an issue, asking for a contact name & address when its on the commercial invoice in the document pouch which was easy to see. However there is no link to discuss problems, no link to check the documentation or even address the errors they raise. The "chat" function was not working. The only way is to communicate via email but the response times are so slow as to make the time sensitive documents expire. We are a professional business to business enterprise sending goods globally. Spend £1000s annually carrier services and PMs customer service interface & experience was truly awful. We have to go to small claims court to recover 2 x sets of fees for failed deliveries. Utterly appalling service. Advice? use Interpacel instead.

I have used Parcel Monkey 5 or 6 times in the past few months. They have always collected on time, communicated very clearly and concisely and delivered on time, sometimes early!
A really good way to ship items that family want to send quickly but dont know how. Highly recommend.
