Good until it goes wrong. Parcel monkey have been reliable for me for the past year or so of sending regular parcels. However, I recently sent two parcels to the same place, and inadvertently stuck the wrong labels on them. The labels looked the same but one parcel was heavier and larger and I had accidentally switched them. Both cost the same to send though. To my surprise they sent me a surcharge demand of over £40 for a parcel costing £10.20 to send. When I complained they made it very difficult, asking for proof, pictures, and when I sent those, pictures of the boxes against a ruler etc. It was obviously a simple error easily made with two seemingly identical labels, but they dont seem to want to resolve it without a fight, so I am now using another company. Very silly as it was obviously an honest mistake, wouldnt have cost me any more for the larger box anyway, and they have lost a regular customer. My verdict is that they are great until something goes wrong. Then they dont want to know.

Absoloute displeasure, first they give you a cheaper quote so you buy their service to get the competition out, and after they get the parcel, they charge you saying your parcel is overweight or heavier than what you said, just a lie to get more money out of you. Now I am having emails from someone from South Africa who is asking me more money to delivery my parcel. A nightmere of a service and will never use again.

Made me pay a ridiculous amount to collect and deliver my parcel. Whilst tracking my parcel I realised it hadnt even left the U.K. yet so I contacted the useless customer service team through a slow web chat and they told me that my parcel is being returned back to me as it contained perfume. Although I clearly stated in the contents that it had perfume whilst booking my collection for the parcel. On top of that I was told I need to pay £15 to have sent back to me from their HQ in Southampton including VAT and that i would need to pay again to resend it. Absolutely terrible service and no compensation or empathy offered.

So quick and easy
The only thing was I forgot to put a couple of things on the items list, went back to add them and had to do it all again! Would be cool if you could save the list and go back it - maybe you can and Im a dummy and couldnt see it
Will always use Parcel Monkey when shipping things around

Parcel not collected on day booked. Online chat took ages to respond and eventually rearranged for next day collection. Despite being told an email would give me a 1 hour slot, nothing until I sent an email in frustration. An email and text followed 2 minutes later giving me the last time slot of the working day. Another wasted day staying in awaiting collection. Parcel picked up but not delivered to its destination until 6 days later.

The courier service used (GLS Netherlands) put the wrong name and address on the package, so it made it difficult and confusing.

We shipped 3 boxes of Christmas gifts from the UK to Denmark and were slightly anxious about items getting damaged or lost. Most shipping companies were very expensive and then we found Parcel Monkey! Excellent price and service. Our boxes were delivered within the advised timeframes and in great condition. The courier even delivered them up to our 2nd floor apartment. We have already shipped some more items now we have seen how easy it was.

Pretty good. Have used several times and I am quite happy with the service. Not always the cheapest but still a reliable and cost effective way of sending parcels of larger than average size.

Very disappointing. The booking process was very easy. However without changing any real details from the initial quote, the price had doubled by the time I came to pay. I was desperate to get a delivery to a customer the next day so I paid regardless. The delivery was supposed to be next day however it did not get to the customer until 5 days later! I am very disappointed for this service and cannot believe how much I paid for a 5 day delivery when it should have been next day. Use if you have to as they do get your parcel where it is needed to go but dont hold much hope of it getting there on time.

Easy to use and get quotes. Not sure how they compare with going straight to parcel company websites but its an easy place to compare quotes. all worked well and then you can log onto your dashboard to print labels and check progress.

The worst company I have EVER used in my life. I paid £101 to book DX to collect my mattress on 2nd of January and paid for it on Friday the 29th of December. Waited in all day and no sign of the delivery guy. I asked someone on the parcel monkeys live chat wether I will get my money back if they don’t collect it the next day. They said yes and booked another collection for the next day. Again waited in all day and nobody came. I was absolutely fuming because this has never happened to me before, nobody even apologized me (every time I talk to customer services at parcel monkey it feels like I’m talking to a robot!!!) I asked for a refund. 6-7 hours later I got told the collection was cancelled and that I would get a refund LATEST after 5 days and it has now been 5 days and no sign of a refund!!!! I asked someone on the online chat which bank account it was paid into and now they’re “looking into it” with the claims team. HOW HARD IS IT TO PAY A REFUND FOR A SERVICE THAT NEVER HAPPENED YOUVE HAD MY MONEY NOW FOR 2 WEEKS AND I WANT IT BACK!!!!
