My first experience in using Parcel Monkey. It was certainly a costly one!. I was told by them to itemise all the contents which were mainly childrens clothes that I was sending to my grandchildren in South Africa. Private person to private person. I was told this would take 5 days. The parcel is still sat in customs despite me having to pay R1200 in customs duty!. The parcel contents amounted to 62 pounds .. it cost me 52 pounds to post and now R1200 duty. I am not happy at all and really think I should of been warned by parcel monkey obviously there is something I should of done to not have this happen.

I was charged extra because the courier told them my parcel was 19kg. It was 1.9kg max!!! This is a massive difference in weight. They were not helpful with dealing with this therefore I will not be using them again.

I have used the service several times and definitely recommend and will continue using. No issues whatsoever and communication is great if there are any. Definitely cheaper for bigger parcels and safer for smaller ones.

Sent it Tuesday and they have received it today (Friday)Always prompt and good delivery time. Very please will always use parcel monkey for deliveries to family in Europe

Switched from P2G to Parcel Monkey, and pleasantly surprised
For a parcel broking company they do as they say, and are certainly cheap
Would have been 5* if I could have got the online tracking to work, but that may have been a DHL problem rather than theirs

Absolutely awful service. They do NOT speak with their shipment on phone and only use email. They even lied about not receiving any responses from Courier. Even though Courier had CCed myself in. They just seem to lie blatantly on the face and even delay any responses. They will not contact Courier by phone and only email, FYI - i chose the most expensive delivery method. So dont expect them to solve issues immediately. Will never use them again!

Total scam!! Parcel got re-routed back to them as Parcelforce unable to deliver, now I have to pay £36 plus carriage to get it back, that is if they can locate it!!! ohh and they never answer within 3 hours so dont hold your breath when they take days to reply. Any company that doesnt have a phone number is dodgy and these are!

Ordered through parcel monkey as I heard great reviews before but after my experience it wouldn’t be my first choice. Their customer service is poor, my order was split between 2 couriers that I was not advised off at the time. Else I could have been prompted to choose a courier that delivers directly. Date of delivery was not met and no one could help locate my parcel.

Charged me £27.65 for a parcel to Singapore. DPD returned the goods to their warehouse, then I had to pay another £14.40. DPD picked the parcel from my home but goods returned to their warehouse in Eastleigh. After 3 weeks asking me asking me what I sent? Immediately Beauty product has to be liquid apparently, improvising. Coming back offering 50% refunds. why they did not do the refunds 2 weeks ago? Missed collection too. How come this company does not do VAT? Surely they are not VAT exempt. We will be claiming from the Credit card. We are not letting them getting away with £42. This company thinks its entitled to people hard earned money. Is there any justification for them to keep the original £27.65 when the goods did not even leave UK. Even have audacity to charge another £14.40, then offering 50% back ( my money) Theres no way they get so many one liner top 5 stars reviews from first time reviewer too, and so many per day. As if people will sign up to review courier companies. OK.

Paid for a 1-2 working day service - received a 4 working day service and that was only because I chased on numerous occasions When asked for a refund I was told - It’s delivered so no refund !! So irrespective of how late it arrives they expect to kee the money and you be happy it arrived ! Disgraceful service do not use !

Parcel to France arrived in good time but unfortunately was delivered to and signed for at the wrong address. Thankfully the recipients knew who it was actually intended for and took it to them. Otherwise a very good and fast service

Pick up as promised, however received an email advising Id be charged more as the parcel was 45kgs when id submitted 8kgs. This was entirely inaccurate as it was a mothercare car seat which weighed 8kgs NOT nearly as much as me!

DLH via parcel monkey as lost a few parcels over the last few weeks. We didnt receive great help from the customer service. they didnt provide any solution. We dispatched twice the parcels for some customers and they lost both parcels!!! More worse they are charging additional fees for incorrect parcel weight we booking 10kg to be safe and they said the parcel weights 34kg for 0.5mm flue pipe doesnt even weigh 2kg!!!!! They store your credit card and you can not remove.... Very disappointed.

BEWARE - this firm makes bogus claims ref. declared weight of parcels. Theyre not even discrete about it: one of our parcels weighed 3.2kg yet they claimed it weighs 10kg!! See other 1 star reviews as others have also reported this. We stopped using Parcel Monkey a few years ago because of this; thought wed give them another try, BIG BIG mistake. Stay well away from this firm.

Parcel Monkey are the absolute worst. No customer support, no care for the package, no care for the customer. Waiting on a simple update on an overnight delivery within the UK which is now running to its 7th day. The help-desk just fob you off without update to meet their SLA and they do nothing. You cant call them, all you can do is keep sending a message to their help-desk, and they just respond to make sure that they start the clock again with some inane update like "were looking into it" or "please hold". The company is in either complete disarray or a scam. Do not trust, they do not care and you will just send them dozens of messages without any conclusion - just go with a reputable company.

I would definitely recommend this service. I found the site very easy to use. I dropped of the parcel and tracked it all the way to it destination. A fast, effective and efficient service. I would definitely use this service again, if needed.
