Easy to use website, with comparisons between different companies. For Parcel force it worked out cheaper than going through the local post office.
Everything went according to plan and the 2 large parcels were delivered within 24 hours. Very Good.

Very easy to use website, got a great price for sending a large parcel. It was collected on the day allocated at a good time and was delivered as promised within 48 hours. Very please with the whole process. Quick and easy!

As previous reviewers have said, ParcelMonkey do offer competitive prices and this is great - until something goes wrong. ParcelMonkey are the middleman between you and the courier and so its really difficult to get a resolution when a problem occurs. We just tried to send an order to a customer in Thailand using a DPD service booked through ParcelMonkey. The incorrect import tax was added by Thai customs and so our customer declined the package. To resolve the matter quickly, we agree with the customer that we would refund the import tax, if they took delivery. ParceMonkey said it was fine for DPD to redeliver but that was 11 days ago and nothing has happened since. At first ParcelMoney just kept saying "your request has been forwarded to the courier". Now they are saying that the local agent in Thailand will contact us - but I havent heard anything yet. If I could just contact DPD myself then Im sure the problem could be resolved straightaway. But it isnt possible to contact the courier yourself when you book through ParcelMonkey. Anyway, Ive learnt my lesson. Next time I have something important to send then Ill pay a bit more and book through the courier directly.

With postal charges being so high, Parcel Monkey gives a fairer cost for posting heavy parcels. I would recommend it to anyone. Try it for yourself.

Booking in was tricky as I repeatedly got messages to say that items listed in my customs declaration were not allowed. It turned out that the only problem was that I had included a £ sign in front of the total value, so beware of this as nothing mentioned on the order form. Otherwise all went smoothly, all in the hands of DPD.

After loosing my parcel they would not pay compensation even though it was insured, then when the parcel was located in South Africa 3 months later they had the audacity to say if I wanted it returned it would cost me £58.94. This company has the worst customer service I have ever had the misfortune to have to deal with. Mistakes happen & things get lost I accept that, its the way its dealt with that differentiates between a good company or a bad one. People leaving good revues for this company have obviously never had anything go wrong.

1) Didnt another courier as booked; 2) Live chat support terrible - clearly outsourced 3) no way to speak to the company directly to try to help them understand their shortcomings 4) Do the owners / investors actually know what is going on in their company - because for their sakes they either need to or change the way the business model [doesnt] work

UPDATE Despite getting the below response from Parcel Monkey, their customer service centre has replied this morning with the standard "we really cannot be bothered answer" again. Just about sums up the company up and what they think of paying customers. They have a lot to learn on the customer service front. Fourth time I have used Parcel Monkey, always have had good experience with them. Assistance from Parcel Monkey staff on this occasion was very good, prompt and helpful. Issue relates to courier as parcel should have been delivered within 4 days and did not arrive until 9 days later. 1 box also appear to have been handled very roughly. I would reccomend Parcel Monkey but disappointed with delay of delivery.

Not happy, stayed in all day waiting for a collection but didn’t turn up. PM not bothered that I took a day off work and didn’t offer any discount or refund for the inconvenience. On top of that they couldn’t even reschedule the pick up as the only day I was free was 7 days later, they said it had to be within 5 days. Terrible service, I’ve soent a fair bit with them in the past but won’t use again.

Excellent service as usual. 8 days from start to delivery all the way to Perth, Australia complete with customs checks which can always be a hold up. Would recommend to anyone wanting to ship from UK to Australia, or to anywhere else for that matter, and so much cheaper than Royal Mail.

Easy to follow instructions on how to book parcel.
Good range of pricing and delivery timing options.
If, for any reason, have had to cancel and re-book same parcel all queries and credits been dealt with quickly and efficiently.
Very convenient for us to use as parcels collected from us and in semi-rural/rural location. Great all round service.
Would recommend highly.

I would never use again, this is the first time I have written a complaint or done a negative review but this has just become ridiculous now. To start with they didnt pick up my parcel so the pick up had to be rearranged multiple times and ended up getting picked up on a date that was never selected. Every time they failed to pick up the parcel they said online that they had and even started the tracking which is quite interesting! When the parcel was picked up the tracking was wrong from start to finish. It was picked up 7 days late. Customer service was awful, not once was their an apology until I highlighted the fact that this service wasnt good enough considering I had already paid. Everyone I spoke to was rude and uninformed they would also take a very long time to respond the internal messaging system, the record being 9 days before a response. The chat was quicker but some people didnt even respond at all until I messaged again asking for a response or help to locate my parcel that arrived ridiculously late. I paid additional to ensure it would arrive on a particular date and it arrived 22 days late. They refunded me for the postage but that was another difficult process to go through. I complained and didnt get a response, I asked for a response and well, it left for much wanting. My parcel arrived bent and battered. Whereas when I used a competitor for the same journey it arrived within 5 days and was picked up when asked, their tracking worked and their customer service was on point. I dont understand how this company has been rated so highly as all of my experience has been awful.
