So glad I found parcel monkey, the price was the cheapest I found, I have to say I was a bit dubious as it was with parcel force and only £9 to send a 26kilo box that was with £60 insurance cover tracked and signed for.
But it was amazing.
The process was very easy to follow, and instructions on finding a drop off also very easy.
Once paid I received an email within minutes with the postage paperwork, just print out and tape it on, it really was that simple.

I needed to ship parcels from the UK back to my home country, and I used ParcelMonkey on a friends recommendation.
The booking process was good, clear, convenient, very well priced.
However, the company I booked with - DPD, look at my review and learn why it was the worst experience ever - missed the collection of my parcels (or rather the van turned up and didnt bother buzzing my flat or ring me... I could see it from the window but from the 6th floor there was little I could do!). I was moving out the next day and leaving the country 3 days later (staying with family in the days between moving out and leaving), so the level of inconvenience this cause me was ENORMOUS.
Now, the lack of service on the part of the courier was not ParcelMonkeys fault. They responded very quick to my emergency and rebooked me for the Monday, which was really inconvenient but there was nothing else they could do (and I do understand that, the collection should have happened in the first place!). I appreciated the quick response, but support-wise you are basically on your own as they are the portal, not the courier.
After that, I get an email asking me to upload the collection receipt, so it was pretty annoying that the member of staff asking for that doesnt know a colleague has rebooked my collection. During conversations with any member of staff, I got a lot of stock replies and complete lack of responsibility, which I also understand as they are not the courier, but thats why I say you are basically on your own if there is a problem.
I am complaining directly to DPD, and they tell me to contact ParcelMonkey as I booked through them, this doesnt make sense but I did anyway just to be able to copy and paste the reply. I understand ParcelMonkey is not responsible for the couriers and the drivers, but as a customer it is difficult to be left with no support when this occurs.
To sum up, if there hadnt been a problem it would be 5 stars. They dealt well with the immediate problem, but they cannot help any further and it can be frustrating, even if it is the courier company that messes up.

I SENT A PARCEL FROM UK TO FRANCE, MY CLIENT DID NOT RECEIVE IT, IMPORTANT PAPERS TO SIGN, A MONTH LATER THEY SENT THEM BACK. I WAS REFUSED A REFUND. DREADFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, WHAT SERVICE THEY WERE NOT HELPFUL, AND CERTAINLY DIDNT WANT TO KNOW REGARDING MONEY OFF OR REFUND.

Dropped my parcel off at the parcel force depot on Thursday lunchtime delivered to Copenhagen Monday morning.
Very good prices for the size and weight of parcel.

The entire experience was synergertic and the delivery was on time and in good condition. Considering I was sceptical about using the service, now I cannot recommend it enough. Try it and if your experience was similar to mine, you will be a regular customer just like me.

If there was a Negative button, or a button for 0 stars then i would have clicked it... STAY WELL AWAY from these guys, their customer services is shocking... we have had a parcel due for delivery to a customer in Europe, the item has been delivered damaged, and returned to us - despite paying over the odds to have the parcel covered for damages, we are still waiting for this parcel to be covered, with no response, and no answers from them... Their customer services is awful.. Cheap carriage but you get what you pay for, dont use them and definitely do not pay for the added insurance as it is simply not true... will be seeing them in the small claims court for sure.

A friend had left her Handbag behind, we needed to get it to her quickly. ~Parcel Monkey were collecting the parcel from our home address within a couple of hours of the Booking. and delivered successfully next morning.

Beware!! First and last experience with this. Our parcel was a failed delivery (one attempt) then immediately returned to sender. Sender apparently is no longer the sender but Parcel Monkey themselves who have it delivered to them in the far south of England with 3 options for the actual owner. 1. Pay more than you did to send in the first place plus £5 admin + vat to get your parcel back. 2. Collect from depot free of charge (Southampton). 3, They will dispose of it. One redeeming factor is that we had it returned to us free after complaining we had no time to clarify their inability to deliver and contact recipient to see what went wrong.
