This service was terrible, total scam! My collection was cancelled two days in a row with no notice or communication from the Parcel Monkey team. I would never recommend this to anyone, not even my worst enemy. Disgraceful!

IGNORE "REVIEWER CONTACTED. They just show you more passive aggression and waste more of your time firing you to their support chat in Timbucktoo who are as useful as a chocolate teapot to some intolerant to Lactose. After 6 months of ignoring me and only getting responses after posting bad reviews online. I finally got an answer to the long drawn out claim which for 4 months they refused to allow me to make. We paid them £58 and insured our package for £500. Their response to our claim is that we need to pay them £20.99 to have the parcel returned or they will dispose of it. They have given us 7 days to respond yet they took 6 month of us having to continuously chase them and post bad reviews about them and Parcel Force who created the problem in the first place, to respond to us. Their chat "support" took 27 minutes yesterday of me repeatedly asking the same question to confirm that they had received my request to collect because I do not trust them to treat me with respect given how awful they have treated me. There is more chance of them actually being as competent as a Monkey than me paying them any more money so I am forced to travel 30 miles to another courier which I sent in May. (It is now a few days from December). Remember all the positive reviews are fake, posted by them to counteract the plethora of complaints that all say the same. Parcel Monkey are a joke. There is no point in a small claim at the county court as they will just ignore it like they did me as customer for 6 months. Parcel Monkey took £58 from us and wasted lots of our time. All of those responsible will suffer their Bad Karma. The universe will reward them in kind. They deserve what they get. AVOID AVOID AVOID

BUYER BEWARE. if t goes wrong they really do not care. absolutely terrible customer service. Seriously pay the extra 50p or so and use a company that cares about the customer and not just the $. Not got the time or inclination to go into details, suffice to say once they have your money, the actual service appears of no significance importance as they have fallen into the trap of many of these companies that come and go that because they are cheap there will be plenty of more business around the corner. History shows that eventually these businesses fail spectacularly. Very disappointed actually with myself for using them

If I could give zero stars I would. They lost a package containing my daughters birthday presents two months ago. I filed a claim and still waiting for a waiver so that FedEx will reimburse me for the contents. Their online support is a JOKE and there are no phone numbers so, of course they are unresponsive. AWFUL. TERRIBLE. UNACCOUNTABLE.

I paid Parcel Money for a shipment of two documents from the UK to South Africa using DPD couriers: I dropped the envelope off at a DPD pickup centre (Currys, Woking) and then, over the next few days, I tracked the status of the shipment daily via the DPD website. The last update on the tracking website was "your parcel has left the UK on its way to South Africa" and after 7 days of no further updates, I contacted Parcel Monkey (PM) on the 22 of November. - 23 November: PM gets back to me and advise they have spoken to DPD and the parcel had been found. I ask what this means and what happens next and get this response: "The carrier has advised us that your item was misplaced for a while and was last scanned yesterday, as this is the case they have advised that they have had to return this back to our depot. I do apologise about this. Kind regards, Jessica" After some more baffling and bewildering chat, PM tell me something along the lines of "Sorry, DPD wont send your shipment to South Africa- wait for our returns team to be in contact". - 25 November: I ask why the "returns team" will be contacting me - 26 November: PM responds: "Were really truly sorry you feel this way. Our returns team will be in touch with you to answer your queries as soon as they have received your item. Kind regards, Jag" At this point, I still have no idea what is going on but in the interest of my sanity I decided to back off and wait for the PM returns team to get in contact and to answer all my queries The PM returns team contact me and advise DPD has returned my shipment to PMs office (in Southampton). I could pick it up from their offices (a 50 mile drive) or pay to have it returned (at a cost of £15) to my home address! PM said the reason for the return was because, despite repeated attempts, DPD had been unable to deliver my documents to the recipient (this was surprising given the shipment had never left the UK) - The next day, after some online chat (the only way to deal with PM customer service) arguing I was told the reason for the non-delivery was because the shipment documents did not have a valid Tax reference or ID number. - The next day, after a further online chat with PMs customer service I was told that a Tax reference or ID number is mandatory for all shipments to India. INDIA? My spelling isnt great and neither is my knowledge of geography but I doubt I typed INDIA instead of SOUTH AFRICA on the address label and documentation. So thats where I am at the moment - my documents have not been sent to SA but PM has taken my money, And I have to drive 50 miles to pick my documents up or pay £15 to have them posted back to me. The whole thing would be funny if it wasnt such an inconvenience.

Had to return a £75 watch to China, thought I would use parcel monkey....worst decision ever. Paid for the shipping and insurance. I wasnt given a proper expected delivery date. Parcel got lost in transit apparently. I never knew the expected delivery date so I just hoped it would arrive. contacted them to ask about my parcel which they never replied to. finally after a couple of tries I got a reply. tried to get my money back for the item but I was out of the given claim period. I wasnt even given an expected delivery date and how was I meant to know that. Plus how was I meant to know that the item would be lost. I was just thinking maybe there was a delay in shipping and that may have been why the website didnt update. well that me lost a £75 watch and they are refusing to refund the shipping cost of £17. Terrible customer service.

when i pay for a service i expect you to follow out the service i paid for. apparently this doesnt matter at parclemonkey will no be using again , to much hassle , im out off pocket , my customer doesnt have his good and he is out off pocket to. apparently i have to PAY to have my goods that i PAYED you to deliver !! terrible 0/10

a Great way of identifying a courier to suit your needs and with prices laid out clearly. On this occasion I used Parcelforce and my fragile item got to the Netherlands in one piece in less than 48 hours

This was my first time using parcel monkey it was easy to book on line, but I took a days holiday and waited in for Parcel Force to collect and they didnt arrive until a day later when I was back at work. It has now been a lot of hassle trying to reschedule the collection. I would try parcel monkey again and would hope for a better experience next time.

I have been using Parcel Monkey for over 4 years to send my parcels to France, and i have never had any problems with the service provided. Apart from recently as the French were protesting against fuel prices, which caused my parcel to be delivered passed the expected delivery date. When they were able it was delivered it first thing.

Not good at all booked 24 hr got by the watching of the tracking it got sent to wrong deposit mils away sat fir over 24hrs there altogether it took over 3 days ..the recipient of the parcel was not happy as they had to go to work and had to pay someone to be there for the £800 insurance parcel ..not happy not the 1st time in the last few months not doing my eBay account any good and I have for years sent my Grandchildrens Xmas presents well I net trusting it this year I have had them sent straight from retailers let them have the headache..sorry buck your Ideas up or I will sadly stop using you ...

Smooth pick up and delivery of the packages. The packages arrived earlier than expected. The price was low and the service reliable. Possibity for the packages to be paid in advance online, which was very helpful in my situation.

booked a next day service but my parcel arrive 2 days late and when I complained I was told "2.6. Compliance with the estimated time of collection or delivery is not guaranteed and the company shall not be liable for late deliveries unless there is valid evidence of a period of 5 working days from the date the goods were scheduled to be delivered on"
