I hadnt heard of Parcel Monkey until I saw the price of sending parcels via Royal Mail and searched for a cheaper option. The price Parcel Monkey found me for my parcel seemed to good to be true, but it was fine.
A really easy site to use, really easy to find the best options for sending parcels and really easy process to follow. My 17kg parcel arrived in less than 24 hours with the 48 hour service. Brilliant.
Ill be using them again for sure.

I used Parcel Monkey to send a parcel to France. I sent it through parcelforce and the whole process from booking to label printing to payment was really easy and quick. Also, parcel was supposed to arrive at its destination in 3 working days but arrived in 2!
Package arrived safely and with no damage and best of all, price was really reasonable and a fraction of what I would have paid if I had gone through delivery company direct.
I highly recommend Parcel.Monkey and would definitely use them again!

They failed to collect the parcel from my home, so I cancelled and took my parcel elsewhere. Parcel Monkey say they cannot refund my payment as the parcel WAS collected! Currently, Im £37 out pocket. Will never try and use Parcel Monkey again.

To qualify, earlier experiences have been great, this occasion was poor or worse. I understand that Parcel Monkey is only an agent for the services its brokers, and as such isnt/cant be responsible for a non-pickup by the contracted party (in this case Parcelforce). However, that does not free Parcel Monkey from a moral and logical duty to have a communications strategy and plan B strategy in place, AND have this customer findable and accessible. So - to be clear - yes, of course I was annoyed that my parcels were not collected on the day pre-scheduled (and for which I made sure to be in all (working) day). However, I have a background in haulage, so I understand that human/paper error, traffic, vehicle loading, driver hours or some such can cause failing of scheduled collection or delivery schedules. What got my goat so to speak, was the fact that the intended recipient (in this case a family-member) got a message informing him about the non-attempted collection (NOTE - not failed collection which notionally could have been my fault, but a NON-ATTEMPTED collection) but I received neither notification of were now on plan B, which is.... and if not suitable please do xyz nor did I receive instructions on how to activate/create/approve a plan B. I assumed (and so made a cross between a donkey and a horse out of YOU and ME) collection would be attempted early on the next working day, and I made my contingency plans accordingly. Only when I started asking/complaining in the afternoon following the non-collect, was I offered/suggested a re-schedule, and that was for the next day. In the end, collection was made at the close of day 2 (as opposed to the re-scheduled day 3), by this point a pleasant surprise (but had I been a business instead of a private person this collection might well have failed since it was after 5pm and NOT to SCHEDULE). Your on-line talking support meanwhile had directed me to where from your site one can make a formal complaint. This location is relatively well hidden..... Once one is making a formal complaint, a response within hours is promised. I never received such response (unless it was the non-scheduled collection on day 2....?), so I suspect your type your issue here and tick to say youre not a bot process is too complex to navigate for this University-educated former office worker. Overall, had this been my first experience of Parcel Monkey, I dont think Id be back. As is, youre saved by my earlier experiences with the Parcel Monkey-DPD combo. I will have to consider carefully if Id be willing to use the Parcel Monkey-Parcelforce combination at any future occasion.

First time I have used Parcel Monkey and I have to say the overall experience was exceptional.
The web site was easy to navigate and quick to obtain quotes. Incidentally, the quotes were the best available.
The booking procedure was straight forward and the whole process ran smoothly.
Highly recommended.

Fast collection, good price and safe delivery from UK to Spain of a large (well packed!) Picture frame and glass. Given that UPS couldnt manage 30 miles without compleyely destroying one Im very pleased with parcel monkeys service!!
