Hopeless! Over the weekend I ordered a Next Day delivery for collection by Tuffnells on Monday. They failed to turn up. Now the earliest they can collect is Wednesday when I cannot be certain to be in. Their attitude is as bad as their communications is as bad as their services and is as unreliable as their promises! This is the first time I have used them. I will never use them again, nor will I recommend them.

TOTALLY MESSED UP - Don’t use them I wanted to send 5 bis moving boxes from Ireland to Sweden and got a quote from parcel monkey for using dpd. Just when I booked it I noticed the first problem, that I couldn’t find any drop-off location in their menu for the boxes in Ireland. So I tried to contact the ‘customer support’, who suggested to bring it to a small near by shop. With this the absolute mess started. The shop employees weren’t happy about the big boxes in their shop and we had to promise them to pick them up the next day, in case dpd wouldn’t pick them up. So I called dpd to be sure they’d come and collect them. After a long back and forth, however, dpd Ireland figured out that parcel monkey sold us labels for dpd UK and that therefore, dpd Ireland couldn’t pick the boxes from the shop. Meanwhile the shop was calling several times to make us pick up the boxes again (using a taxi for which PARCEL MONKEY WOULDN’T REFUND THE ADDITIONAL COSTS!!!) - I tried to get in contact with parcel monkey however the chat people just referred to the support email people saying that they feel so sorry but can’t so anything (basically leaving me alone with all the problems and communication with the shop and dpd) and the email support would need three days to reply saying that they could try to get the right labels…when we already had all the boxes picked up from the shop on our own expenses. In the end I’m just happy we cancelled the order as I don’t know where my boxes would end up with this chaotic organised company. Don’t expect anything to work with them and don’t expect any (helpful) support from them. In the end the wrong information of them telling us to bring the boxes to this shop started two days of constant phone communication with dpd/shop people and costed us around 30 Euro for taxi transports, that even though caused by them, wouldn’t be refunded. I’d never go with them again and highly advise to go for a different company. In the end, we decided for eco parcel and everything worked out without any problems. They even pick up the boxes at home.

In last 3 weeks had about 4 parcels supposed to be next day delivery .i paid a premium cost for .none delivered on time .opend a case on each and no responce from parcel monkey .so to ask how you did parcel monkey .well words are to unaceptable to comment on here

I have a direct account with UPS but use Parcel Monkey to access better rates for European deliveries. Identical service, half the cost. Win-win!

If I could give none I would. First of all the service itself. I choose last Tuesday (18) to send small documents parcel thorugh Parcel Monkey. I chose the international option of DPD EXPRESS which between brackets had the following information 1-2 days. Which as any person would understand means that the deliver is done 1 or 2 days. I tracked my parcel on Wednesday and was still in London. Thursday the same. Which made me doubt that would ever arrive on time so I contact the company. Contacting parcel Monkey is the most irritating and annoying thing for the simple fact their chat they are not on it 100% because it takes them about 2 h to reply to you. And the costumer service area basically you send messages and wait hours for someone to reply. I asked to be contacted on the phone they told me was not possible. So basically when I contacted them I asked them why my delivery wasnt on the way yet and why was informing me that would only arrive ONE WEEK after when I requested EXPRESS and paid for it more than the regular 4-5 days this was the answer I had "Please be advised that its just an estimated delivery date, and they wont deliver on weekends." So why they have on their website EXPRESS 1-2 days? And why did I pay for it? I got this then I can only apologise on their behalf, the one thing I will say is that although this does happen from time to time (with all couriers) all of the courier services that we recommend usually have between a 98%-99% success rate across the board. To try and rectify this as quickly as possible I have contacted the couriers directly and requested an immediate investigation into the shipment, as soon as I have more information on this I will contact you immediately. So did apparently they contact the courier and got the same answer. That the delivery would be done on the 25th when paid 10 pounds more for and EXPRESS (which usually means fast service). My question continues to be why am I informed on their website that the delivery is express and why is charged more than other when it takes a week to arrive because from the 18 till 25 its a week. So I tried again to ask why was I over charged for a serviced that I didnt get, and why my delivery was being delivered one week after " This is just an estimate delivery time frame and it may still change. The delivery actually varies from time to time, especially whenever the parcel s are held in Customs for inspection. This is beyond our control. However, we already contacted the courier to confirm the latest status of this parcel. as soon as we receive a response, we will update you immediately" Still doesnt explain why my delivery according to the tracking website says left England on Thursday and again left England on Friday and again today Monday says that it left England. After trying to contact once more the company I gave up. My documents will arrive late, I was overcharged and in the end I will direct this complain to the authorities that look ater consumer rights. Parcel Monkey shouldnt exist.

Paid for a 24 hour delivery on a Wednesday to ensure birthday present (large tv) for my 13 year old got here in time with collection Thursday, meant to deliver Friday (waited in all day, as Im a single dad and no one else here, no call to notify me of the pending let down) birthday Saturday, with a half a dozen plus kids coming around to watch the tv "movie and ps4 night", its now the following Monday and my son had to go without his present as its still not here. They havent even tried to help me Ive been chasing around trying to find out whats happening, I asked them for money back but they tell me theres no guaranteed service and in the small print of T&C a 24 hour service can take upto 5 working days.....it would be funny if it wasnt so important to me. In the 13 years of being a father Ive never let my boy down but thanks to parcel monkey I have now! A refund would have been appreciated, a small token of good will, showing a sign that they actually gave a damn but they quote T&C and one of there employees said if you want to cancel you can have your money back then! Adding insult to injury when they are holding the gift I bought him and desperately trying to get them to deliver on the Saturday just in time but no. Disgusting service and so very let down.

Whilst the service with pacel monkey went without a hitch, the courier they used (Royal Mail Parcel Force) badly damaged the blanket box, smashing one corner and it was packagesd really well, so they must have really handled it badly.

Parcelmonkey will not use them again. Very poor customers service and chat live is like talking to a pair of socks. I booked a parcel online to be delivered on Saturday but what do I get next working day. I contacted them but not a helpful one. I have to chased my selected courier Tuffnells to delivered my parcel for Saturday. A very helpful man call James in Oxford branch put a message to a night manager in Middlesex to ask and keep an on my parcel. I contacted Middlesex branch and spoken to a lady call Lyn another greatful service she assured me that the night manager is very aware of my request. That I originally booked for Saturday delivery through Parcelmonkey. Thank you very much Night Manager to make it happen my parcel has been delivered on Saturday. Tuffnells staffs would like to say thank you very much for a superb service. Sadly I won’t be using Parcelmonkey in the future I will go directly to Tuffnells parcel service.

Use ParcelMonkey. Theyre great!
Ive previously used ParcelForce directly, with an account and Parcel2Go to send around 30 parcels a week for a small on line business.
Ive found Parcel Monkey to be excellent. The website is easy to use, and when something goes wrong (rarely) they are quick to resolve it (hours rather than days) and efficient. Things do go wrong and its how a company deals with it that sets them apart. ParcelMonkey own the problem and solve it.
I contrast them with Parcel2Go who were unutterably dreadful and didnt seem to care. Even going to the extent of denying they were offering a courier service!
Try ParcelMonkey they seem to be people who care about their business and deserve success on the back of it.
