Used Parcel Monkey for the first time. All went without a hitch. Will use again.

Although the site was easy to use, bought up results quickly, and the prices seemed quite competitive - the actual usage has been poor. Having recently exited the EU exporting items requires export documentation which is country specific. I relied on this site to produce all required export documents which it appeared to do. However it appears the documents required are not correct, and my delivery has been held up in the destination countries customs! Not impressed.

We use Parcel Monkey regularly and normally have no problems , however we recently sent 7 identical parcels , 6 of them delivered with no issues . However 1 of them went astray on the 3rd day of handling and the updates given were varied " out for delivery " , " held - restricted contents ( which it certainly was not ) " ,17 minutes later it was listed as "Parcel missing/cannot be located" , 4 days later "Parcelforce Worldwide have collected your parcel and it will start its journey to our delivery depot." and now it has disappeared all together . All in all a complete disaster !!!!

I booked an international service and paid £150 for International Priority service through ParcelMonkey with ParcelForce. The item was collected from me and a few days later I came to know that Parcelforce are unable to export it because the product I was sending contains a Lithium Battery. Okay so I have waited a full week and the item has not been returned to me. When I contacted Parcelforce, they said I must contact ParcelMonkey to have the item returned to me and when I contacted ParcelMonkey they said they are waiting for an update from Parcelforce - but yet when I ask Parcelforce about this they said there is no request from ParcelMonkey. The item is worth £1,275 and it looks like someone wants this for free rather than returning it to me!

My annual parcel to Denmark was a challenge this year due to the export rules following Brexit. However the parcel was delivered in the usual time frame with no problems

How can I give a suitable feedback. I have two parcels one collected on the 1/12/21 to be delivered in Perth, W Australia I paid for a 4-5 day delivery. Well it’s still not In Perth yet!!!! The other box is supposed to have left on the 10th for Singapore. This I am watching. It says exported., really. Can I believe this The courier is Parcel Force. I’m extremely upset as these are Xmas gifts to the family. You can’t speak to anyone here in the U.K. all calls are answered in the Philippines!! I won’t deal with Parcel Monkeys anymore if this turns out to be a disappointment. !

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY ARE NOTHING BUT RIP OFF MERCHANTS. BEWARE!!!! READ THIS AS IT IS IMPORTANT NOT JUST A WHINGE. I used this service for posting some electrical security lighting with a built in camera. The price was much cheaper than the normal service I use but I suppose you get what you pay for! The parcel was packed very well in a strong box, the packaging such that nothing moved inside the box at all and well padded. During transit the parcel received some clear rough handling which is outside of my control. The box was damaged and consequently an item inside the box was damaged beyond repair. I made a claim against the insurance that I paid for. First excuse was that the parcel was not wrapped well enough and not in a strong box. I replied so they reconsidered and still refusing the claim turning the item posted into a category that it clearly wasnt, stating it was a camera and carried without insurance which it clearly is not a photographic camera. A business colleague of mine has also had the same issues with respect to insurance with this company. They seem to bend the description into something that they dont have to pay out on. A cheap service but dont expect the insurance to cover if something goes wrong. I will never use this service again and certainly do not recommend this company to anybody. I will also be checking with the courier as to whether they make a claim for damage as it is clearly damaged in transit and would be a valid claim with that courier.

Absolutely awful service. They are happy to take your money and advertise a service. However, when their service messes up, they make you jump through 35,000 hoops to disincentivise you to chase up any sort of compensation/refund. There is no number to call, no live chat that they advertise. My item was damaged in transit, they then told me that the item was lost, and it was never returned to me. I was then sent a damage claims form asking me to describe the damage..HOW CAN I FILL IT IN WHEN YOU HAVE NOT RETURNED THE ITEM TO ME.

I paid extra for next day 10.30 delivery, parcel was not delivered until 4pm, no refund from Parcel Monkey. Courier falsely said delivered on time and Parcel Monkey not accepting customers word. Its a good service when it works, but Parcel Monkey need to look after customers when things go wrong..if its only as they said to me in 2 per cent of cases it would not be expensive for them to put this right. I have lost confidence in them.

Parcelmonkey were fine, but DHL delayed 2 days, and when you pay for next day service and dont get it or any form of remuneration for losing out a day, it stings a little.

I paid £95 for express delivery for a parcel from UK to Australia. It spent over 2 weeks in the UK, by viewing tracking it appeared to be stuck at Heathrow. I contacted parcel monkey via online chat asking for an update, I was fobbed off repeatedly, advisors said they would update me within 1-2 days, i never received an update. Customer service is appalling, I will use a different provider in the future.

We recently moved to Parcel Monkey from a competitor. The competitor claimed that two parcels we sent were significantly heavier than what they were. It was difficult for us to prove them wrong on the first occasion but on the second occasion we received a additional invoice for £65. Fortunately, we were able to prove the weight, so we challenged them. Their initial response was unacceptable to us so we moved to Parcel Monkey for a trial. The customer received the item and we received no issue with the delivery. The overcharging competitor have done us a favour as this delivery was about £5 cheaper, for the same item, than the competitor so they did us a favour :O)

Parcel Monkey quoting 2-3 days delivery, when delivery company (Parcelforce) have suspended all delivery timescales due to Covid/Brexit. When contacting Parcel Monkey, am told to ‘contact us again in a week if parcel hasn’t been delivered’. Will not use again.
