The whole process was alright, although I struggled quite a bit with knowing how much alcohol I could send to France (due to Brexit). I contacted the courrier directly, and got my answer. I wish there was a way to phone parcel monkey, to ask specific questions, even though they respond to chat within few hours.

My parcel arrived my destination within 10 days very fast compared to previous services I used especially because my parcel was on the heavier side, I found parcel monkey offered the most competitive price. There was also regular updates on the website which was very nice and they also had precautions in case the delivery got lost. For my first experience using parcel monkey I am very pleased and will be using them again in the future.

Quick and easy to arrange a parcel collection. Worked out cheaper to go through Parcel Monkey than directly to Parcelforce.
Ideally would like to have an idea of collection time.

Preparing the paperwork was very straightforward and collection was on time. In the past the tracking system has not been great, but this time I was kept up to date with only a small time delay right up to delivery in Australia.

2nd time used this service for delivery to Europe. From start to finish took 7days incl day of booking. Slightly more complicated due to having to complete codes for export to Europe now even though just small gift items but have made a record to make it easier in the future. Ideally delivery could’ve been a day earlier but though still very good considering we are in the midst of a pandemic. Cost speed delivery time and efficiency all score 5* from me

Very very poor service and will never use again and will not recommend them to anyone to use due to the bad customer service. I used their services and my parcel contained a Christmas gifts (clothes, shoes, electric tooth brush and a small bag of toiletries). It was decided that my parcel contained prohibited items and I was provided with three options only 1- collect from Southampton (300 miles away and during a lockdown) 2- pay £15.59 to have my parcel returned (I have already paid £62.47 to parcel monkey). 3- pay £5 plus admin fees to have it destroyed. I tried to communicate with customer services to resolve the issue but no phone number available to speak to someone, only via online texting. The person I spoke to online kept saying refer to the email we sent you and when I stated that the email does not allow me to reply she stated that I have to follow the instructions on that email which are the three options I mentioned earlier. Keep away from these robbing people.

A hope amidst COVIDs remote working challenges
Is it hadnt been for Parcelmonkey, I dont know how we would have been able to send the equipment to our team. Of course, theres been issues, but these usually have to do with drivers themselves, not the site per se. Also, the customer service agents help me every time I need :)

They are scammers. Couldn’t pass the Two-Step-Authentication after exhausting all solutions they provided so I didn’t even get to use their service. Requested refund through three different methods all were ignored or system wouldn’t perform. Contacted PayPal to seller himself he tried to put up a hassle kept asking why I need a refund where went wrong after I already explained him everything. Escalated to PayPal claim still waiting on his response. I didn’t even get to use their service at all I requested refund 5 hours after purchasing, their 60 day money back guarantee is a lie!

Very good service to send a large (10kg) parcel to France. It was easy to arrange and included the customs declaration form needed to export to Europe now that we are out of the EU. I will definitely use this company again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR PARCEL : Parcel sent via Parcelmonkey (Parcelforce service to the EU) on 14th January 2021. It has been sitting in Export hub for 1 month with no update. When contacted via their support ticket system, PM respond quite quickly and say they will look into it which I have found to be complete lies. When I called Parcelforce directly, they confirmed that no request has been lodged by PM, .... and it must be lodged by them for Parcelforce to initiate an investigation. Despite providing this revelation to PM on more than one occasion over several days, they still have not bothered to lodge a request for investigation with Parcelforce. I understand that there are delays with Brexit and COVID, however, a simple update with expected time to resolution would go a long way. Instead, they prefer to fob off customers with a combination of an auto-apology bot or their Auto-Lies bot. Cheap for sure but just not worth the hassle when something goes wrong

whilst this was by far the cheapest method of sending my 3.5kg parcel the option of d.h.l. was not the best service. no contact with a pick up time slot which meant i waited in all day for them, then the ninja delivery man left my £400 parcel outside my parents one bedroomed bungalow whilst they were home waiting for it. I appreciate this is a parcel monkey review & they cant really be held responsible for d.h.l. but on reflection maybe the cheapest isnt always the best option !!

Parcel was delivered very quickly which I was very pleased about. My one complaint is can it be made easier to find codes for goods sending abroad please I found that part very stressful.

£95 to deliver a parcel through parcel force to the US from the U.K. described as delivery in 2-4 working days... 7 working days later and still not there. My payment is still on hold from PayPal for the purchase as the parcel still hasn’t arrived! Covid disruption shouldn’t come in to this as they shouldn’t be advertising 2-4 working days.

While parcel monkey was straightforward, the service with DHL was poor. I paid for next day service and it took 5 days with no tracking updates for 4 days. I thought the parcel must be lost. Thankfully it was eventually delivered. So not parcel monkey’s fault and I know these are challenging times but this wasn’t a great overall service.
