The site was really easy to use and I got an amazing price saving me 30 pounds from most sites I’d checked from the uk to Denmark and it arrived super fast. I couldn’t be happier.

I used Parcel monkey, the actual selection and payment was seamless. However. When comparing services for an express next day delivery to be picked up on a Friday, with the plan for it to be delivered on the Saturday, it was not made clear at all that my chosen service didnt deliver on weekends. It would have been faster, easier and massively cheaper just to use Royal Mail.

Steer well clear of this company. Update from a previous review... after them losing over £700 worth of my stuff I have been offered a refund of postage ....which I expected as standard but no compensation ???????????? I have determined from the lack of customer service that they don’t care in any way shape or form. Do not use....pay extra and get the service you want. Never will I use them again. I have since advised other small business that I am in touch with not to use this company. Just used UPS to send parcel to Australia and it cost me no more and was actually there three days early . That’s good service .

Sent two identical parcels to Ireland in early December. No problem delivered ok. Then today my card was charged with £90 with no prior contact because they say one of the parcels was massive. They were identical in size weight and contents. So far they have refused a refund. I will never use them again and I would give them no stars if I could. Be wary if you do choose to send a parcel with them because they might seem cheap but you could find out to your cost that they will take money from you weeks later. Avoid

Parcel collected on time and able to track to Netherlands, however once the parcel was in Amsterdam it seemed to get stuck at a depot. This was a 2 day service but took 7 days in total to reach destination.

Appalling customer service. Simply respond with the usual "you agreed to terms when using our service". The issue was a 24 hour delivery method (ParcelForce 24) still hasnt delivered 3 days later. ParcelForce themselves offer 50% compensation - however Parcel Monkey will not honour this as their own terms state the following (as copied from a customer service agent reply): "The company shall not be liable for late deliveries unless there is valid evidence of a period of 5 working days from the date the goods were scheduled to be delivered on." Moral of this story, dont use parcel monkey and just go direct with someone else.

Although I have found this service good and value for money. I still think there needs to be a telephone number for customer service. Issues can be solved much quicker than having to wait around for someone to get back to you via email..

While the collection time and transit was smooth, the parcel has not arrived yet on its destination. While I do understand that you do not have a hold on customs clearance time, it would be better to assure your clients on its status because I find it hard to believe that the same update for 4 days. Also, please improve on how to better contact you because I sent a message via your website and I have yet to hear an update.

Gave no indication when parcel was to be picked up. Waited in all day and when I phoned them up they apparently arrived to no response at 10:30am, when was in my front room listening out for them. Lies. Ended up taking my parcel myself to nearest depot which was 45 mins away. Disappointed as it had potential to be a great, hassle free service.

I thought that everything was going well and was quite impressed at the beginning. Parcelforce collected my parcel destined for overseas although didnt have much clue about the process. I entered the dimensions of my package and added the weight as detailed from the supplier 2.5kg. The price was competitive so thought wed give it a go. There was no mention of import fees so the package was held..not informed by Parcel Monkey but by the intended recipient so had to pay an extra fee. Then a week after delivery I have received an invoice stating that ParcelForce have calculated the volumetric weight to be 10kg so have already taken £20+ from my account! BEWARE!

After being recomended by a friend, I sent 4 parcels to Spain early December to have them delivered on the 16th of December the latest, plenty of time before Christimas, I thought. The parcels never arrived, had to rush to buy new gifts for my family. No one in Parcel Monkey would tell me where my stuff was, so I had to find out myself, hire a van, go to collect everything and send the initial gifts (with a different currier, obviously) back to UK to be able to return them. I asked for a refund, but all they offer is £20 back, which is absolutely ridiculous. I again asked for a full refund, up to today still no answer from them... The worst possible service I have ever experienced.

It was easy to organise my parcels and they were picked up and started their journey swiftly and all was well. The PROBLEM was with CHRONOPOST in France. The parcels were taken to my home on 31.12.19 but not left as instructed very clearly on the parcel, nor was i called despite my phone number also being clearly attached. They left a note saying my parcels could be collected at a post office 20km away in 24 hours, despite there being a post office in my village. Due to new yr etc i left it till 2.1.20 and made the 40km round trip to get my two parcels. They werent there despite Chronopost having dropped parcels there twice since they left the note at my house. I tthen spent 30m on call to chronopost customer services. Then was sent an email to confirm or change delivery details. I again asked that the parcels be dropped at my house the next day and gave two phone numbers. Another email confirmed that this would happen the next day. Next day it hadnt arrived by 14h30 so called customer services again. They assured me that my parcels were in the lorry and on the way to my house and would be there within the hour. 30 minutes later i had a call from the PO to say they had been dropped off there! So i had to make another 40km round trip to get them. Also the parcels weighed 30kg each so i had to ask another customer to help me get them into my car and a neighbour to help me get them into my house. And all in all it took 8 days from sending to reception. I recognise that DPD uk were brilliant but Chronopost france were absolute rubbish. Do they have a monopoly in france? Is that why you use them? Are they going to refund me for the 80km i had to drive to get my parcels?

Buying experience with PM was fine however the shipment through chosen carrier Parcel was a disaster. Although properly packaged one of the two shipments arrived severely damaged and effectively unable to use. The handling element of this shipment effectively meant full refund offered to buyer.
