Where do I start? Excuse the grammar and the overuse of the! Booked a next day collection. (Day 1), no collection!, no big problem so told Parcel monkey the following morning (Day 2), response from parcel monkey sorry! (They say that a lot) well pick up the following day. Courier turns up in the afternoon and collects parcel. Day 3 another courier turns up for the parcel that had been picked up the day before! Parcel monkey then tells me they havent collected my parcel!!! Day 14 from collection parcel still not delivered so i chase up parcel monkey, one of the responses that day was "please can you describe my goods" 16 days later from order and many many messages later, nobody (you have to deal with lots of different people!) can tell me if the parcel is where the parcel is. Parcel monkey still blaming courier and apologies! Also asked for standard T&C’ s, when we starting taking about claims and parcel monkey liability. All of which hasn’t been answered. But dont worry i found them on line Just dont use them, go direct to courier or take the parcel yourself, I could of walked the parcel there myself quicker!!!!!!!! Seriously it was only going from south wales to Cornwall on a next day service

I was charged an additional £9.79 because the courier said they weighed my parcel at 9.5kg instead of the 5.5kg I declared. This was either a mistake or a blatant lie, as I had sent identical parcels before - via the Post Office - with no issues whatsoever. Parcelmonkey kept insisting they needed "photographic proof that I had declared the correct dimensions" before they could dispute the charge with the courier, but who takes a picture of their parcel on the scales? And how could I prove it was the same parcel anyway? On the other hand, I was never provided with any evidence of my parcel being weighed at 9.5kg, so it looks like the courier can say whatever they want and Parcelmonkey side with them. Furthermore, one of my items was totally smashed to bits during transit, adding insult to injury. Next time Ill go back to using the Post Office.

I do not suggest using this service if you have a job they give you a time window of 8-6 pm with no exact timing. When they finally collected my package and gave the shipper the receipt they claim that it hasnt been collected . I have ordered this package a werk and a half ago and I am still without my package with all my belongings . I did my research and was surprised there are so many great comments here because I did not have the same experience. Perhaps they work far better in the UK. Extremely dissapointed parcel monkey

Had a account for a few years selling mostly hiend HiFi, To say Im not to happy is an under statement This now is the third time a no show by the delivery sevice Id booked with parcel monkey, By that I mean Ive stayed home or the wife the whole day no show re book for next day again no show not good enough just to say sorry about that please rebook!!! Total joke Still took my money though and i lost all the sales as had to refund buyers

These “monkeys” overcharged me for a parcel I sent. They are just a bunch of crooks and thieves. Basically they ask you to provide measures and weight for the parcel then quote you and charge you for that. I measured and weighted the parcel precisely, using metering tape and a scale. After delivering the parcel they came back saying that the “volumetric weight” was wrong and charged me an extra £15. Basically, the actual weight doesn t matter, they estimate it by volume which makes no sense - not everything weights the same. They blamed Parcelforce - the courier I used - and said that without proof of weight there was nothing they could do. Avoid these “monkeys” as the pest. I know for a fact I won t be using them again. This company is a RIP OFF. I made a order for a pickup to be delivered to me, paid £75..after Id paid realised that I could not get the large roofing sheets wrapped in card by the other end, so cancelled within 2 hours. Parcel monkey acknowledged the cancellation , but after a month and many emails have failed to refund my money. There is NO phone contact and a useless , faceless customer service.DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
