Terrible customer service We have used Parcel Monkey in the past few years and have had no issues with the process. However, with our most recent parcel, we weighed and measured twice on different scales and was confident the dimensions were accurate, 2 weeks after sending the parcel we received an additional charge via an email stating that the parcel was 8 times heavier that what we stated... and also that the volumetric size was different. The sizes that they stated the parcel was, were exactly the same just in reverse order, therefore giving the same volumetric size. We obviously were not happy with this so messaged their customer service team, who stated they would look into it and get back to us. The message back was not helpful only stating thaty we must provide evidence that the parcel was the wrong weight and size. When we stated that we could not provide this as we shouldn’t be expected to take a photo of a parcel showing its weight and that their measurements clearly were the same as ours even when they stated that they are not... 16x24x32 is the SAME AS 32x24x16... only one of their colleagues could understand this but they could not do anything to help only message the courier a second time... and still no reply poor show indeed It is worth noting that they have NO telephone number to call them on and you can only message the customer service team. Overall, it appears that they don’t care about their customers as believe they dont know how to measure or weigh a parcel before sending it... and if they did they still would not listen to their complaint and just apply the charge anyway...

Very poor service! My parcel & my friends was meant to have been picked up from London on the 9th of March 2021 for delivery the next day. This did not happen, up to now no notification / update + no delivery done from parcel monkey. Very disappointed as parcel monkey was highly recommended to me.

Wow. Not much customer service. Courier didnt show for the first collection; Parcel Monkey rescheduled. Courier didnt show for the second collection but said they did (I have a security camera that can prove theyre lying) and Parcel Monkey said too bad, they only attempt one collection. After loads of discourse, they will maybe refund me in a week. I waited home 14 hours over 2 days and spent over an hour online with PM for "maybe a refund". Use another courier, theyre much better!

Sent a parcel to Spain from the UK. Parcel was sent using DPD via parcel monkey. It all started so well and then I had contact to say they couldn’t deliver & wanted another £20 to return it to me. I questioned the address with the recipient & it turns out DPD were delivering to a completely different part of Spain! I’m now £50 down and 3 weeks delayed.

Skates sent from UK to Austria. Booked via parcel monkey. Collected by DPD. And they were successfully collected. But that’s the only positive point here. It’s now been 2 weeks since collection. Skates haven’t even made it to Austria. Since 3 days after collection, they have sat in a depot. 3 days after arriving at that depot the tracking updated to ‘in customs awaiting duty payment’ - I was not contacted in any way to alert me, nor the Austrian buyer, so no one requested duty payment or contacted us in any way to suggest this payment was due and how it was paid. 3 days later again and the tracking updated to say the item could not be delivered, the storage limit had been accepted and to contact the sender for more information. Well I am the sender and I have no information. So at this point I escalate to Parcel monkey for assistance. Absolutely pointless. In 2 weeks all they’ve replied with (to my now 5+ update requests) is reworded versions of the tracking information. They don’t have a clue where my parcel is, when it’s getting returned to me, why it never made it to Austria, why no customs office never got in touch to say they’ve got the parcel and there’s a 3 day period where duties must be paid. And the worst thing is, they just purposely delay asking for 24 hours here and 48 hours there before having an answer. They then don’t contact you with any updates once that time had expired. They wait for you to contact them again and rehash something that’s already been said and ask for a further delay to ascertain why there’s been no updates. My advice is to steer clear of Parcel monkey during this Covid/brexit situation as they are completely and utterly useless in providing any type of support or assistance. I mean, where are my skates right now? They don’t have a clue.
