Parcel was smashed in to the pieces!!

My parcel has been sent 27 days ago (going from USA to UK) and as for now it did reach departure hub in USA 21 days ago and didn’t move since. When I try to contact them the answer is always the same. There is problem with generating international label but IT team is working on it and it will be sent in one or two days. It goes like that for a while now and I am sick of it. Don’t know if I will ever see the parcel as they don’t want to send it back to sender or hand it to another courier. I wouldn’t recommend using them. I certainly won’t ever again.

I would say 4 stars for quick delivery and nice to be able to track my parcel every step of the way till it was delivered.
Would have got a 5 star if the parcel was collected from me free of charge but had to take it to a depo myself to avoid the extra cost

If you place any value whatsoever on your item, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, and certainly don’t waste your money on any additional cover payments. The additional insurance is a con, as Parcel Monkey will never pay out in the event of any loss or damage. Instead, they will put the blame back on you the customer, for ‘shipping a prohibited item’. Their prohibited items list has 224 entries, but to give themselves a boiler-plated ‘get-out clause’, you are warned that this is ‘not an exhaustive list’. You’d be forgiven for wondering exactly what Parcel Monkey are prepared to ship, and take at least some responsibility for? Their ‘Terms and Conditions’ document runs to 4,859 words, with the main purpose of shielding the company from any requirement to pay out compensation on your item. Ignore the 4,859 words at your peril, do not be fooled into thinking that these people know or care about what you are shipping. They don’t, and in combination with the cowboys at Tuffnells, managed to completely destroy a 38kg stainless steel topped kitchen trolley, that I unwittingly gave them responsibility for shipping. Guess what? No compensation because it was a prohibited item, hiding in the ‘Furniture Free-standing’ get-out clause. My advice is, leave Parcel Monkey on the shelf and find a company you can trust, preferably one that you can actually talk to, rather than one that hides behind E-mail only communication and a legal pack designed specifically to leave you out of pocket.

Very good. Although a little expensive my parcel reached New Zealand within 4 days with no problems. A lot cheaper than using a courier direct.

Parcel badly damaged (i have not got an issue with that, accidents happen) what i do have an issue with is that you cannot get hold of anybody to talk to, I have filled in some stupid form & I am still waiting for a reply two days later, rubbish service!

The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I had a problem with a parcel delivery (because I put Sun Tan mousse in the parcel for my Daughter in law in Spain and the courier wouldn’t fly it) and tried to contact them but they have no phone just a message facility .They are a broker and chose Parcelforce so when I tried to speak to Parcelforce they wouldn’t divulge any info as I’d used Parcel Monkey as a go between .They had my parcel and didn’t even know where it was until I told them using the Parcelforce tracker system. It was in their Southampton depot and they demanded that I pay them another £18.36 (inc admin charges )to return it otherwise they would dispose of it after 21 days .They have had my parcel for over 2 weeks and still have it I purposely asked them to send it back to my home address but they conveniently had it delivered back to their Southampton depot . Absolute robbers so please be aware using Parcel Monkey as if something goes wrong they’ll sting you . Your better choosing your own courier and doing it directly If I could’ve given a zero mark I would have but 1 was the lowest Caveat Emptor

I ordered a 48hr delivery service, my item is over a week late. I messaged Parcel Monkey multiple times and they havent offered any assistance what so ever or even responded. Also Parcel Force said that its Parcel Monkeys responsibility to reimburse me. But they dont respond to their customers so I wont hold my breath. I just wish I had went to the courier directly instead of using a useless service that dont offer assistance to their customers. Not to mention you cant even telephone them. They claim to have a live chat service which is also non existent. The whole thing is one big scam and I doubt I will ever get my parcel or reimbursement.

Discusting I have to say!!! Some flexibility please!!!! I can prove the item that arrived was totally damaged, it was fully insured yet you wont compensate!!! I sent an item through this company, its august, holliday month, everybody knows it!!! Yet, although reported the item at the same month, they wont compensate, meaning Ive lost an antique item worth £350!! Horrible customer service, wont even talk with you on phone, but you need to send of a ticket!

Using Parcel Monkey I was able to book, have my parcel collected, then have the parcel delivered to my chose address in 36-40hours.

Query over collection timeslot. The last couple of times, including this one, although you offered a collection slot this service was not fullfilled by DPD and no prior warning was given with regards to the collection time. Why offer this service if in reality it is not honoured and people have to wait all day not knowing when you will collect? However, apart from that the transportation was quick and without damage. Thanks.

The delivery occurred next day as promised and therefore I would have liked to have been able to give 5 stars. However, we received a text to confirm collection time, in a one hour window, and therefore worked around this. The parcel was not, however, collected for several hours after the stated window.
