I was really disappointed with the be service. Our pick up was organised for Tuesday and having contacted parcelmonkey on Tuesday to say it hadn’t been picked up, they said wait till 6pm. I got an email from parcel force saying they couldn’t pick up. I then contacted parcelmonkey again who didn’t respond. I contacted parcelforce on Wednesday who said they couldn’t find my address and didn’t have my number to pick up. I provided all of these details to parcelmonkey and again to parcel force on the phone on Wednesday. Finally on Thursday they picked up - two days later than organised. I would like a full refund as the service was not what I paid for.

I am really pleased with parcelmonkey. Easy to get a quote and book, with a early morning email staying an hour slot when the driver would be picking up the parcel.
Driver arrived on time and it was delivered next day.
Not the cheapest option but well worth the extra quid for the convienience and service.
Have already used again.

problems with pick up time. Eventually had to take parcel myself to Parcelforce 25 miles away. also had payment taken from my account 3 times. very very poor service. would give no stars if the option was available.

Dont get/send a large parcel from Isle-of-Wight to the mainland and select DX Freight - the overnight service does NOT exist, it can take several days for it to leave as they need an amount of parcels before it does the crossing to Southampton - They then make excuses. POOR customer service. They lost the item twice to cover up the slow / late delivery.

I picked Parcelforce, who came up the cheapest anyway.
Easy to do, pay with Pay Pal, get sent labels to attach to package & a tracking link that works.
Whats not to like ?????
01/06/18 by Thomas
I went with the Parcelforce48 option because it said the driver collecting would have the printed labels. When the driver arrived, he said that he didnt have labels (because the collection had been booked same day) and that they would be added later at the depot. He gave me a receipt and explained the tracking procedure. The tracking showed up later online and everything went smoothly from there. I would recommend this service as they collected and delivered within the timeframe.

My recent experience with Parcel Monkey was fine, up until the point it arrived at its destination (Ciego De Avila, Cuba). Price was good (£61), collection quick, decent communications although a little slow with providing tracking details. Parcel Monkey sub-contracted this movement to Courier. I provided the required information of the parcel HxWxD and weight, just under 10kgs. There were some additional customs forms that also had to be completed. It got to Havana within a week or so and then took about another three weeks to get to my friend in Ciego De Avila. This is where the problems started. Cuban regulations are that private individuals can only receive up to 5kgs and the recipient still has to pay a delivery fee to the Cuban post office/courier, around 11CUC in this case (approx £8). If only Parcel Monkey had told me about this 5kg limit. As it was over by almost double the delivery fee asked for was 164CUC (approx £125). This is approx 5 MONTHS WAGES to a typical Cuban. The items I sent were, things to help a family that we take for granted here in the UK but to a Cuban either not available or far too expensive to afford, such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo etc etc I spoke with their customer service team and was offered no help and had to work to get no more than an apology and a deflection to Courier, who will not discuss the service as it is a contract between them and Parcel Monkey. I suggested that they add something to their website which highlights the 5kg rule so others dont fall foul of it but to date, they have done nothing. Very unimpressed with their complete lack of empathy and although I have several more parcels to send I wont be using them again and make sure I inform as many potential customers of the poor service and the "weve had your money and now we dont care" attitude.

I booked a next day collection for a large parcel. I specifically booked it for collection on my only day off work. I contacted Parcel Monkey and courier on day of collection - neither were able to give me an approximate time for collection. I waited in all day from 8am-6pm, no show from courier. Couriers office closed at 6pm so unable to chase up with them. Parcel Monkey do not have a phone number so had to speak to them via web chat. They offered me collection in two days time, same as if I had cancelled and booked again myself. I asked if they could book for the following morning / afternoon. They said no it was too late. They made no effort to sort this out with the courier for me. They literally offered the bare minimum - cancel and rebook. Whats more the web chat agent was extremely slow to respond to each of my comments. Totally frustrated and unimpressed by the level of customer service.

This is not ParcelMonkey, This is Monkey Business !! A company run by monkeys. I am surprised they are still in business. 11 days into the shipment and its is still thousands of miles from destination and still on the same continent of departure. Absolutely no updates on the tracking system for 6 days. I deal with hundreds of companies every year and I can assure you this is by far the worst of them. The next worst company is in a completely higher level. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company run by monkeys !!! My samples are at an unknown location and God knows if they will make it to their destination. I am contacting Paypal to reverse the charges. This company is a bunch of scammers. On yelp review they have 100% upset customers with 1 star rating, the absolute worse rating that can be and the first time I saw such low rating by all the customers. Yet on their own site, they are supposedly a 4.5 out of 5 rating. Pure BS!!!! they only post the ratings that are favorable and delete the 90% that are negative. I would not be surprised if they pay people to post fake positive reviews or if they do it themselves . They deserve a zero rating. Even 1 star is undeserved

Complete scammers. Do not do business. Robbed of over $1,000 worth of items. I decided to try Parcel Monkey to return shoes to the UK as it was a cheaper option than say, using UPS. I shipped 4 pairs each with a declared value of $260. They were sent to a post via USPS which were then supposed to be sent to the final destination in the UK. Up to this point, 3/4 were delivered on the 21st of May. On the 29th of May, I receive a message from the post I sent them to saying that, and I quote, "Air City Post distribution center have received 3 empty boxes of returned goods from USPS that was under your account. Please let us know if you have have shoes inside the box, if so it is most likely that USPS lost your goods in the middle of the delivery process. Please let us know what you want us to do with the empty box.". I have checked the tracking of each and 3/4 were delivered on the 21st but I am just now, yesterday, getting a message saying that there are no shoes in the boxes, that they are empty and that USPS should be the ones to blame for losing the package. (the 4th shoe is set to be delivered). Well, the packages were not lost, they were delivered as per the tracking. What probably happened was that the thieves that reside at "Air City Post" open the packages, stole the contents within, shoes, and then claimed that they were empty. USPS are not ones to lose packages, much less steal the contents within. They are a federal agency. I replied back to Air City Post and have not gotten a reply, 25 hours later. Now I am left with nothing. The shoes have been stolen, and the amount for shipping the shoes will probably not return to my account. Do not do business with Air City Post. Parcel Monkey are also partly to blame for listing Air City Posts service on their website. I hope Parcel Monkey takes action and does the right thing, full compensation for the declared value of the shoes that were lost/stolen in the packages and a full refund for the cost of shipping. I will take further action if Parcel Monkey or Air City Post, do not comply.

Ace, Picked the parcel 5 days ago and it has been already delivered today in Crete-Greece and at a lot better price than others.I have used them many times and I had only one hick-up once with extra cost so make sure the weight is right as the dimensions, Otherwise, great price and in my case the parcel was pick-up by parcel force at every occasion at half price of what parcel force would have charged me for doing the same job. I will use them again when needed.
