Parcel monkey lost my parcel 3 month ago with basically all my stuff when I was moving to Ireland. I never got neither the parcel nore the insurance money back. The customer service is just reachable via online form and is constantly texting that they are on it but nothing ever happend. Never again

First time I been disappointed with service, parcel was to picked up Monday didn’t come had to get in touch and it was picked up next day so I had to stay in instead of going out then it wasn’t delivered till Thursday so friend who it was meant for had to stay in that day as I had tried to work it so it was picked up my end when I was off and she was in next day so really through our timing

Bit annoying that it says Parcelforce doesnt require a label to be printed but then you get an email asking you to print the label ... and then the Parcelforce worker turns up with the label. When you havent got a printer this isnt much fun and needs changing. Otherwise very easy to use and no problems.

We sent a parcel to China on 22nd June via Parcel Monkey. The parcel took a while to get to China but, as tracking was still updating all the while we werent too concerned, we knew that shipments can take weeks to get to China these days. By 26th July the tracking stopped updating when the item arrived at customs, so we contacted Parcel Monkey on 3rd August to check everything was ok, they said the recipient needed to contact customs to have the parcel cleared. The recipient had already done this and was just waiting for the item to be cleared for delivery. The item never arrived with the recipient however and on 10th August the tracking updated once more when it left customs, then nothing. We were in contact with Parcel Monkey requesting updates and trying to find out where it was. On 8th September, tracking showed the item had been returned rather than delivered - but it was returned to Spain (we sent the item from the UK). Parcel Monkey then said that they would request the item be returned to us so we waited and waited, chasing them every couple of weeks but not receiving anything. Last week, after two months of trying to have it returned, they informed us the parcel was lost. "Unfortunately" they told us that we were not eligible for the compensation we paid for, because we didnt report the item as missing within 10 working days of the expected delivery date. Even though the item was lost WELL AFTER we contacted them to say the parcel hadnt arrived - they knew exactly where the item was when we contacted them, and the tracking updated again a week after we contacted them to report it hadnt arrived so the item was not missing at this point. It was lost on the return journey to us so whether we had reported it missing within 10 working days of the expected delivery date should be inconsequential, since it wasnt missing at that point. Further to this, the "expected delivery date" that we had to contact them within 10 working days of, is not displayed or shown ANYWHERE to the customer. They dont provide this at the time of booking or anywhere on your account. You cant even see the expected delivery time frame when looking at your account after ordering to try and work out roughly when it should arrive by. The delivery timeframes quoted at booking are not even clear - "9-14 days" - is that calendar days or working days? So you cant even work out the cutoff point for yourself at the time of booking. So to have the compensation you pay for they require you to contact them by a specific date, but dont tell you that date at all. And the fact that the parcel was lost months after we contacted them is apparently irrelevant to them If they want to get technical, their terms and conditions actually state: "The time limit for notifying us of your claim may be extended upon receipt of your written request if you can prove to us that you or the person receiving the goods did not have a reasonable opportunity to inspect the goods within the time periods stated. Consent to such a request will not be unreasonably withheld. " Since the item was still on its way to the recipient at the point when their 10 working days cut off passed (whenever that was - they still cant tell us an exact date we had to contact them by), the recipient DID NOT have reasonable opportunity to inspect the goods within the time periods stated, and therefore Parcel Monkey cannot unreasonably withhold consent to extending the notification period under their own terms and conditions - and yet they are. Despite me making very clear arguments that a) their terms and conditions should not be applied when they have lost the parcel well after we contacted them about it, and b) their terms and conditions allow for the claim window to be extended, Parcel Monkey dont care and wont budge. Because we have argued this (rationally and politely with no abuse/swearing/improper conduct) they have now suspended our account - not that we would ever send another parcel with them - but it means we cant access any information about shipments we have sent recently, so if one of them goes missing we have no way to even attempt to resolve this with them or make a claim, as they only provide customer service via their support system that we must be logged into on our account to access. Surely this is not legal, they are now preventing us from adhering to their terms and conditions with regards to making a future claim, the very terms and conditions they are trying to use to fob us off with the shipment they are refusing to pay out on. If another of our recent parcels goes missing we have no way to make a claim within the 10 working days of the expected delivery date they stipulate, and no way to check when an item was sent, what service with etc to even guess at what this mythical 10 working day cut off point might be. Parcel Monkey will be receiving a written letter of complaint from us and we will be taking this all the way to court if necessary as well as contacting Trading Standards, Watchdog and national newspapers to see if any of them are interested in the very sketchy business practices one of the UKs largest parcel booking firms are employing.

Really easy booking the collection, tracking labels and instructions were emailed really quickly. Downhill from then though, you cant call them, its all live chat, fine, but it took an average of 15 mins to initially respond and then long waits within the chat as they are obviously on more than one live chat at the same time. My collection was showing as not collected, when I messaged they confirmed it was not collected. They said theyd arrange a collection next day, no apology. Id booked a day off work to receive the chair so very frustrated. The next morning the chair was delivered at 8.15, it had been collected but Parcel Monkey had not actually bothered to find out, nor was their tracking updated. I did not inform them it had actually been collected, they have never contact me to advise about he recollection they alleged to have been arranging - really poor service.

The worst delivering company. DO NOT USE this company at all!!!!! Dont even risk it!!!!!! It was the brides wedding and they said delivery would be made in 3-5 days I paid over £30 pounds for the delivery. And then when the day of the delivery came no delivery was made. And then contacting parcel monkey meant talk to 10 people on an online chat who say we will get back to you in 24 hours. Then! No response so contacted the company direct (dpd) then they transferred me over to the exports team who gave me an international number to enquire about my parcel and then I got in contact with them and they said another 3 days. So the brides outfit was due on her wedding day. Wedding day arrived and they called up to ask for 9000 rupees for delivery! And then they said they would deliver the following week upon payment! Contacted dpd they office is closed and parcel monkey are useless. Bride had no bridal wear for her wedding day. And these companies all they said was it will get there when it will!. Dont risk it. Like I read reviews and there were only the 10% bad ones and I thought oh it might have been just a hit and miss situation but dont use it
