First time user. I had a heavy parcel to send and so thought I would see which carrier would be the cheapest and most secure. I was happy with the choice of carriers given on Parcel Monkey. The booking system was clear and easy and the parcel was collected from my door and delivered on time at a reasonable price. I will use this service again when I next have a heavy or larger parcel to send.

Appalling doesnt even begin to describe the service as their was none. No one picked up the parcel but the receiving party was already emailed to track the parcel After waiting 2 days, I contacted parcel monkey again who issued a new label and promised it would be collected- waited from Friday to Monday and parcel still in the hospital not collected. So asking for excellent feedback is a bit cheeky. The parcel now has to be destroyed as there were samples for diabetic people.

After11 days, my parcel has not left the UK and the Tracking History is incomprehensible Allowing for Brexit and Covid, some information about what is happening hasn’t been forthcoming. So it’s difficult to review a service I have in no way yet received

I do not normally post reviews, but on this occasion …. I booked a parcel delivery service to the Netherlands on 13th December 2020, using Parcel Monkey. It was to go via Parcelforce, so I printed the label and posted it at my local Post Office the same day. In passing, the parcel contained Christmas presents for my son and his wife, and my grandson. I followed the tracking, and it reached the delivery depot on 16th Dec 2020, and went out for delivery the following day. It was never delivered and seems to have been bouncing around the GLS, Netherlands delivery depot ever since. I have messaged Parcel Money on numerous occasions, and they always say they are waiting on an update from GLS. I can track the parcel myself, so they could do so just as easily. Only messaging is available, they won’t take calls by phone. It is now 25th January, a full month after Christmas, so my guess is that the parcel is lost or damaged. Even if it isn’t, it’s more than a tad late for Christmas. Over the past 2 or 3 weeks, I have also repeatedly told Parcel Monkey I wish to reclaim my postage and £60 compensation, which was what the parcel was insured for. They have never responded to my request, just say they’re waiting for an update. I’ve asked how long they expect me to wait, and they never give me an answer. I’ve said I want to escalate the situation, but they don’t respond. I’ve written to them, but have had no response. All I can say is the Parcel Monkey is the right name – I’d have no less success in resolving the problem if I was talking to a monkey !! I would, therefore, strongly advise against using Parcel Monkey. If anything goes wrong, they won’t take any responsibility, and they wont es;ond when you say you want to make a claim.

Shipment booked on Monday, collected on Tuesday and delivered on Wednesday, all at a really good price. Tracking information was excellent, with both me and the recipient being updated regularly by email and text. Will definitely use again.

Booked parcel monkey to collect an item they did not send me conformation or a label spoke to parcel force and they said I had to go back to parcel monkey how when there is no actual person.... Descraceful service in the end booked with hermes plus it was cheaper with them

Just as easy as using the Royal Mail but a lot cheaper. Easy to book online and drop off at the post office. Parcel arrived in two days with no problems.

I find Parcel Monkey UK excellent! Such a great way of finding optimum way to send parcels or even bulky itemsmin the mostbefficent and cost effective way. I have already recommened Parcel Monkey to friends and family - a great find!

I have used Interparcel previously and had such a bad experience with an incompetent carrier they used that I was wary of using a third party carrier again but fortunately they were very efficient as they used a reputable courier in Parcel Force so I am able to recommend them

Booked a parcel via Parcel Force and was led to believe it would take 2 days to reach Ireland. It was complicated by the need to complete custom declaration. Staff at post office were great in assisting when dropped off. A week later it’s sitting at ‘International Hub’ and has been for 5 days! Not great service to be honest. It’s a gift for a new baby, hope he gets it before he starts school! Sent a package to my grandson in Spain before Christmas and could not fault service, arrived in 4 days. Sometime not right here even with COVID-19 delays?

I used Parcel Monkey to send an unused Dolce Gusto Jovia coffee machine to a friend, since most other couriers prohibited coffee machines for some *****ic reason. I ignored the negative reviews thinking "its only a fiver and not a very important package- just an unused Xmas gift Im giving to a friend". LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. I had to enter the size and weigh of the package to get a quote, I selected my date for pickup and all was fine. It got delivered, no problem. However, a few days later I got an email from parcel monkey saying Id misquoted the dimensions of my parcel and instead of being the quoted 2.5kg, it was actually 5kg and as such they were just going to slide their slimy fingers into my bank account and take whatever they felt they were owed. it is important to note at this point that I took the measurements and weight directly from the dolce gusto website so for parcel monkey to state the courier (Courier I think) weighed it at twice the size is truly obscene. It is unclear whether PM are inflating these figures themselves to fraudulently obtain more money from their customers or if couriers like Courier just lie about item size and weight for a laugh but something is truly wrong with this service. Turns out, in the end, I couldve gone straight through Courier at a marginally cheaper cost without the added complexity of involving a redundant middle man like PM. Avoid at all costs. Dodgy AF. Dont make my mistake. IF you truly have to use them, take photos of everything, next to a tape measure, physically on a set of scales. Give them no wiggle room because they will steal from you if you give them a chance. Giving 2 stars because the package was delivered and customer service replied, albeit with some prodding. Edit: after filtering through the obviously paid/fake reviews you can find 3 other instances of overcharging in the last 24 hours alone, including one where parcel monkey stated 6 pieces of paper weighed 10kg. Absolute madness

Wasnt happy with the service. I booked a slot for my parcel to be collected from my house, I had a text from the chosen carrier, and was given a hour slot saying they would be collecting . ( It was in the afternoon) I went out in the morning to walk the dog, came home and had a text to say sorry you werent in. They were 4 hours early, trying to get through to the number to rebook is a nightmare, the driver wont come back at the allotted time they gave, so I had to wait 3 days for it to be collected again. In fact I couldnt wait that long so ended up taking it to a drop off point. This was so annoying when I had paid extra for next day delievery. No explaination was received, attitude stunk of the call handler. The only positive is its a lot cheaper than the post office to ship large parcels, but you get what you pay for. I would use again, but I will never pick the collection service.

Still having to deal with nonsense from this company who are an absolute joke! Don’t bother taking out the insurance when you send an item- it essentially counts for nothing as far as I can see! Having sent a parcel to my sister containing her Christmas presents on the 10th December- which never got to her we were then told the item is missing nearly a month later! Then to be told unless I had receipts I wouldn’t be able to claim anything back. Then when I did manage to find some “proof of purchase” for a few items it was essentially implied I was lying about how much I had claimed for the items. This was after I had explained MANY times that we didn’t have all the receipts as the parcel was sent a long time ago and we didn’t know at that time that we would need to hold onto them! The implication that I am trying to fraudulently claim is absolutely disgraceful and extremely upsetting!

Shocking customer service. A package shipped early in December was sent to Ibiza, Tracking still to this day, 25th January, says the package is due for delivery. Apparently delivery was attempted but no card was left. No contact made. After 4 weeks of back and forth with messages trying to resolve the situation, I was told to be patient the delivery would arrive soon, eventually I was told the package is being returned to the UK although it has still not arrived. I was fobbed off for several weeks being assured the package was helpd up and to be patient and it would be delivered. Had they actually checked properly we could have resolved this, however they did not. Just fobbed me off for weeks. No updated tracking supplied. No package returned. Now when i have lost my patience and attempting to make a complaint Im being referred to terms and conditions with no intention to assist. If you are shipping abroad, do not waste your time and money using this 3rd party service, if you have a problem, you have no customer service to speak of, and no comeback. Even if you pay for insurance they have no intention of honouring it. DO NOT USE!

I sent some personal items from London to Berlin. PM asked me to fill in a custom form. I did it using the dashboard tool but the system is not working and I had to send the invoice by mail after several attempts. My parcels were supposed to be delivered 10 days ago by Courier. I still dont have them. Ive asked PM what was going on and they told me (after one week waiting for them to come back to me) that my parcels were held at customs waiting for more information on the export reason. I did the invoice with PM customer service and they didnt ask for all the necessary information apparently. They provide you a blank invoice to fill in, but its not enough. My parcels are held at customs and I will probably have to pay extra costs. This service is so unprofessional. I dont recommend using it to send parcels abroad.

Almost perfect, except that when I clicked the link to find a post office I could deliver my parcel to, it didnt take in to account the weight of my parcel. We went to our local PO which was on the list & we were told our item was 1kg over the weight they can take.
