The service was ok but the price was a little high

I would give 0 stars if I could. I paid £70 for a parcel from London to Scotland. I was told it would be picked up on 31 Dec but it got postponed repeatedly. The courier service DX would call and postpone, but this information wouldnt flew to parcelmonkey who kept promising it would get picked up the next day. Finally it hot picked up on 8 Jan, after I raised a stink. Then my tracking number didnt work. Finally 5 days later, I was told my parcel was delivered to me when it wasnt! A fake signature was made and I was at my wits end! Parcelmonkey washed their hands off it and blamed the courier service. Miraculously the parcel appeared at the door 2 days later, no signature sought, no ring on the doorbell. It was just there, battered. Parcelmonkey doesnt think its fair to give me a refund. AVOID

Never Again.. I live in the East midlands. My parcel to go to Scotland was Delivered to Southampton, damaged. Parcel Monkey at first wanted to charge me to return the parcel, but eventually returned it to me at no charge. They will not refund my full postage costs and have messed me around for over a month, presumably in the hope I will go away.

We followed instructions and downloaded form which we attached, paid £9 for postage only for the parcel to be returned to us within three days. Disappointed.

Good job. I was able to post a large box enclosing an acoustic guitar in case via Parcelforce 24 with reasonably priced insurance. Box was 120 x 53 x 22.

Awful experience. Avoid Parcel Monkey. Having made a genuine complaint about incorrect information given by staff at Parcel Moneky they have as good as refused to call me back, what Business in this day and age cannot call a customer just poor excuses. I am out of pocket due to this company. You have to keep chasing them to gain a response, you gice a realistic time frame for a Manager to come back to you and they blatantly ignore it and you. When you get a response there is no introduction to who you are speaking with and one who claims to be a team leader messages Sorry for any inconvenience caused, thats it. No Care at all and No Effort. Absolute joke.

Dreadful service, this company are very disorganised, they have no idea whats happening to my parcel. There is no proper liaising between drivers and the office that employ them. Ive been left to track it, still not delivered to daughter in Spain after15 days. Once my parcel had been collected, there iswas no accountability from them for its delivery. Nicholas told they have no more information and Im to track it myself! Ive wasted hours trying to find my parcel, found out its in Madrid awaiting custom checks, no details of when or if it will be delivered. Surely its up to them to keep checks on the parcels theyve collected, thats the contract we make and pay for isnt it? I have asked them to call me .... still waiting!

Still waiting for delivery of half of the shipment, 1 parcel has arrived the other did not. Ive had to call Parcel Force twice to try and locate it The other parcel arrived at the wrong address but thankfully at somewhere known to the recipient. Its actually been a total shambles.

It was super easy to purchase the postage online and my parcel was collected the next day in the scheduled time frame I was given. There was plenty of communication throughout the process and my parcel got to its destination quickly and safely. Overall very pleased. Only thing Id say to change is that postage costs are quoted without VAT which for someone who is only posting a couple of things isnt the most helpful.

Four weeks and still no refund. Am writing to customer service regularly but no solution is ever proposed. They charged me GBP 34.97 for not collecting my parcel and then a further GBP4.54 because the parcel they decided to deliver to me (somebody elses parcel) was heavier that paid for. They fail all round: failed to collect; failed to refund; failed to investigate; failed to give meaningful feedback. They even cannot admit to have messed this up pretty badly, theyd rather keep charging me and keep the money. Is that appropriate behaviuor for a business? So far, some 10 different staff have got back to me giving me the usual standard message or contradicting each other but the matter does not move forward. I would like a refund for services not rendered and maybe a fully paid holiday for stress caused.

There has been a lot of issues for me while the courier. The parcel is still in the customs and its been 30days. The Indian custom services are taking a whole lot of time and the Courier isnt that helpful .

A good company and generally a good service and fast support response. The reason I only give 3 stars is because you are generally let down on the fast delivery services. If you pay for next day / 24 hour service generally it doesn’t happen. I have had this where parcel force say they delivered late , however as purchased through parcel monkey discuss with them, parcel monkey will only look at this if it’s over 5 days late. This feels like a loophole both parcel monkey and their suppliers exploit. So if your ok with 2 or 3 day delivery then great, book direct with the delivery firms if you really need a guaranteed fast delivery.

Used them to send a parcel to Hong Kong, which arrived fine and I left a nice review, then a few days later got an email saying I was going to be charged extra as the parcel was 2.8kg and not the 2.3kg I had stated. I replied that as it had not been opened as it not to be opened till Christmas they could return and weigh it again, no response! Daughter in HK reweighed it and it is the correct stated weight.Contacted parcel monkey again, no response, money was taken from my card which I will now dispute, emailed them again and no response.
