Av kinda been looking forward to getting me parcel… I was updated about 11 to say it was out for delivery, about 15:00 they said it be there between 14:30 and 16:30, 20mins later they said sorry but we can’t deliver today????. So unfortunately it ain’t a happy Friday

Was double the price of Royal Mail first class. A parcel that was sent on Friday by Royal Mail first class at the same time was delivered on Saturday. The parcel through Parcel Monkey and Royal Mail 48 hr delivery was double the price and delivered the following Wednesday.

Ive paid almost £50 to send a large item on the 13th March and now (22nd March) it has still not been delivered. Ive tried getting hold of someone but everything is automated! Ive contacted Parcelforce and been told "nothing to do with them as they are just the courier"!

Awful experience. If you want your parcel delivered - then AVOID THIS MONKEY BUSINESS!!! They subcontract jobs and have no means to communicate with the couriers - yes, seriously, a courier company that cant communicate with their drivers (because the drivers are NOT theirs). So they messed up my (same-day delivery) order and told me that I needed to wait 24 hours for any response. Their driver canceled my order and now I need to wait 3 days for a refund of the parcel that I had to pick up myself. Its a joke all day long!

I sent a 14kg parcel to Canada, I then got an invoice for an extra charge of £31 as they said my parcel weighed 49 kg instead of 38kg nearly 3 times more than what my parcel actually weighs absolutely ridiculous company and they were a day late collecting it avoid at all costs.

AVOID AVOID......... According to Parcel Monkey the parcel i sent with them and they shipped with Parcel Force was over-size so they charged me £76 a total rip off. I sent the exact same parcel direct with Parcel Force and understated the size on purpose and they charged me £22. If i was you i would go straight to the courier and do not use Parcel Monkey Contacted them 4 times but they were not interest they like money more than cutomers

Absolutely atrocious customer service (when they even bother to reply). I recently sent 4 packages from the USA to the UK, each of which I rounded-UP on weights and dimensions, giving each package a plus .5 of a kilo and plus .5 of an inch in order to avoid extra charges for under-calculating weights and dimensions, yet they threw on an extra charge for "under-calculating" anyway. I sent a metal PC case first, which arrived damaged beyond repair and completely unusable. They claim (rightly so) that computers and electronic goods are not covered by insurance. However, a PC case is not electronic. They still would not honour a claim for irreparable damage. The front panel of the case was torn off with excessive force, snapping every single fastening clasp the whole way down each side of the front panel, cracking the panel and creating a large bend in the metal frame of the case. The underside of the case was warped, with a clear dent where some sort of pry bar, possibly a crowbar was used to wrench off the rear side panel. Two of my air-mail packages arrived late took 28 days to arrive), even though I paid extra for the 14-21 day service. Items were missing from the other 2 packages and every single item of clothing arrived with holes in, I assume where they were torn open to check for hidden items, even though scan technology exists in 2024. The whole experience has added an unreasonable amount of stress and disappointment to an already stressful situation of moving from one country to another. Do NOT trust this company. I would highly recommend spending a little extra money to use a direct courier service or a competitor with a better reputation.

A charge of one pound eighty has been applied by parcel monkey despite the weight being under the declaired weight as on parcel forces scale and the dimentions being under those stated in the application form. This is not the first time parcel monkey has applied aditional charges withought proper justification. Photographic evidence has been sent to parcel monkeymonkey.

Would have given a 5 star rating for this one, but please read on and be warned! The parcel arrived in good time which is nothing to do with Parcel Monkey, it just depends on the customs the other end. I was charged an additional amount for declaring either a parcel of wrong size or weight. Of course I can not dispute this now because I did not take a picture of the size of my box when I measured it or the weight when I weighed it. I have sent over 50 parcels to various places over the past 10 years to my children in various countries - I have never once got either the dimensions or weight incorrect. I doubt I did this time, but I can not dispute it. I suggest if you use any parcel service - take pictures of the measurements - I will be in future

I used parcel monkey to send a limited edition art print, making sure to pay for insurance to cover any damage to the item as it was of some value. The item turned up smashed and permanently damaged so I understandably refunded the buyer and started a claim with parcel monkey to get my insurance money back. I have now been waiting over a month for my claim to be resolved, parcel monkey waiting weeks to ask me to provide additional proof (after I’d sent all of the information they’d initially asked for) and when I queried why it was taking so long they said as a “no prejudice offer to speed things along” they could just send me some money that doesn’t even cover half of the amount I had it insured for. Quite ridiculous really, I don’t see the point in paying for full coverage insurance if there’s no guarantee you’ll actually be getting it paid back to you…

Started process Firstly when I added a second parcel it increased the price of the first parcel by 300%...decided to swallow that as I wanted them both to go together. Final price was £89 something(£74.18 plus vat). Then at payment screen it jumped to £101 so at that point i used someone else.
