Easy to book but no indication that there would be Vat to pay at other end and would be via UPS to pay, rather than direct via Douanes, so incurred extra costs. Would be nice to know this in advance, or have offer to pay it in UK. May stick to going down the Post Office where I think you can pay the Vat in advance. Cost more than the carrier charge to release it.

The parcel must have been thrown about a lot. The contents were damaged beyond repair. I had packaged in a double layer of thick rigid cardboard foam lined box made to size. Disappointing.

no collection , poor services, dont use it. I have arrange 2 times collection from home both failed. I have been waiting all day at my house and they said no one there so failed collection. thats funny, i am stay at home all day just for the collection. I wanna give it ZERO STAR!!

It was very easy to get a quote and book for collection from home of my Djembe drum going off to the Isle of Wight, to drum hospital. The collection took place within the expected time and the cost was surprisingly budget friendly. Have used Parcel Monkey UK before to ship a guitar, and would certainly use their service again. Totally failed collection

Sent a package to my in laws in Sweden from the UK, paid for the Guaranteed Delivery Service which promises a full refund if its not delivered for the day. It was of course not delivered on the day, in fact it was delivered 2 days after the delivery day. It was supposed to have been delivered on the 16th of September and wasnt delivered until the 18th of September. It was not stuck in customs, my in laws even called UPS on the 17th when it was marked as delayed for a second time to ask why it wasnt delivered and they had no idea. I contacted ParcelMonkey as instructed, as I was told I could not get my refund until after the package was delivered. I am now having a conversation with a ParcelMonkey employee that does not seem to be reading the information I have provided him. I have kindly asked my case to be forwarded to a supervisor and I have still not had a resolution to this, he just keeps repeating the same information over and over. Ive even provided the employee with links and pictures of their own policy that I specifically paid for. Live chat is unable to help me, I asked for someone else to please help me on this ticket. I have nothing good to say about the customer service from ParcelMonkey, as they seem to be avoiding to even enforce their own policies and EXTRA service that I paid extra for. I have used ParcelMonkey in the past, as long as you dont run into an issue they are mostly ok. From now on I will take my business elsewhere as their customer service is horrid.

Recently sent a parcel via Parcel Monkey. I sent an old bike trainer to a happy eBay bidder. The Kickr snap weighs 17.2kg and so its not the easiest item to ship. I carefully weighed the box with all of its packing and it came to just over 25kg. I put 26kg on the booking form and popped in the dimensions as per the original packaging that the bike trainer arrived in which I had kept. The parcel arrived at its destination no problem and the Ebay bidder has left me great feedback. Sadly, a few days later I received an additional charge for delivery from Parcel monkey. The additional invoice confirms the declared weight was 26kg but then claims the actual weight was 10kg. As a result they have charged me an additional £13.74 (the original cost was only £9.59). Thinking it would be an error and easy fix I contacted Parcel Monkey representatives to resolve. Sadly, they are not budging. As I keep explaining its impossible for the parcel to have weighed 10kg as the product alone weighs 17.2kg. So unless I lied on the customs form and the Ebay bidder received something completely different to what they ordered and still decided to leave a positive review thats impossible. In addition, even if it did only weigh 10kg I cannot understand why I would be charged extra for over-specifying the weight. Its so frustrating. Its not about the money but the principle. The dudes at Parcel Monkey need photographic evidence of me measuring the box and of its weight to overturn the decision. Of course I dont have that evidence. Buyer beware - I suggest people avoid or risk additional charges later on.

No correspondence from the couriers. Claims they have attempted a collected three times but nobody appeared. No phone numbers to call and lack of humans to speak with all automated calls and chatbots. No way of tracking vans/ ETA or a contact for the delivery/collection drivers

The driver turned up early, never contacted us. when we got through they said it would now be the following day (late afternoon) for collection. This was a vital part of our work on site and has now cost us financially as we couldnt proceed with our work on site.
