Wouldn’t use again poor customer service

I tried this service as I had been given a quote from elsewhere and was impressed with how straight forward it was. Instructions were clear, easy drop off and the parcel arrived in the USA earlier than stated all at a reasonable price which was cheaper than other competitors.
I will use this service again in the future.

Parcel Monkey was miles out on price approx double and £20.00 more expensive compared to Parcel to Go and even Parcel Force on a 170cm x 10cm x 10cm 4 kgs parcel! I didnt use them obviously!

I booked a small (20cm x 20cm 1kg) package via ParcelMonkey on Courier next day collection from Scotland to my home in Plymouth. It was urgent as Id left a laptop charger in Scotland but needed it for work at my home. A label had been applied by my colleagues in Scotland and it was waiting for collection. The Courier driver instead took a 60kg very large parcel (1m wide) that had no label on it to the depot, then added the label to it and it was transported to Plymouth. Despite trying the phone number on the Courier website I could not get hold of anyone to explain their mix-up. I also tried to get hold of ParcelMonkey but they do not have a phone contact facility and communicate via a kind of web chat. In the end I had to get another courier to pick up my urgent parcel. If I hadnt, the parcel would still be there. Tot his date, no-one has contacted me by phone to help sort this out. Now, to add insult to injury, ParcelMonkey have taken more money from my account (without permission) for the extra carriage weight and wont refund it. They say that the wrong package was handed over, hence its my fault. However, since the dimensions and weight I entered are so different this is absolute rubbish and they should not condone the incompetence of Courier and thier inability to check the details of what they were meant to be collecting.

I cant even start to explain how annoyed this company has made me, they dont pick up and just always offer next day, if I wanted next day pick up I would of asked for that, I obviously chose a date as I needed it to be there by a certain time and this company could not provide that service, they always blame the couriers, yet if you ring the courier service to see if they are coming to you to collect, the company has nothing of a booking from parcel monkey that you had one booked. I used to use this company all the time, they have gone downhill big time and until they come back up that is me done with them.

SHOCKING EXPERIANCE WILL NEVER USE AGAIN - BETWEEN PARCELFORCE LYING ABOUT A FAILED COLLECTION THAT THEY NEVER DID AND MONKEY BLAMING EVERYONE ELSE - NOTHING TO DO WITH US BUT WE TAKE THE MONEY - BOTH AS BAD AS EACH OTHER - 2 SHOCKING SERVICES AND MISERABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - BOTH OFF MY CHRISTMAS CARD LIST - WILL USE OTHERS IN FUTURE

Parcel Monkey are useless do not bother. They failed to collect 2 parcels on Monday. You cannot phone them everything is by e-mail. Placed 2 more orders with them on Tuesday- no collection on Wednesday either by Courier. Shambolic company take no responsibility- Courier say nothing they can do they will e-mail parcel monkey. Now i am chasing a refund on 4 parcels - do not use this company there is a reason they are cheap !!!

Sent two international parcels, one to Australia and one to New Zealand. The Australia one arrived in 5 days - a new world record ?? - and the New Zealand one took 6 days - another record ! Both were undamaged and no issues with customs.

Used Parcel Monkey a couple of times - and unfortunately the cheaper prices reflects in their customer service - non existant - noone will take responsibility for anything. I had a parcel go missing for about 4 months and all parcel monkey would reply is give it time

Sent parcel from N.Ireland to Belgium parcel monkey shipped it via parcel force and it went via England so it came as a shipment outside the EU. Belgium customs slapped a 48 euros customs charge. Had to call Belgian Post to contest the charge. Parcel force were absolutely useless. Lady on the phone didnt even know NI was still in customs union.

STAY AWAY! I was stupid enough to book 2 parcels on the same booking, and from there on it all went to hell. As of writing this, Parcel Monkey have still not sorted things out. Their website doesnt let you add what is actually in each parcel separately to the Customs Invoice. Even though the invoice says "This is item 1 of 2" and "2 of 2", the contents are wrong for what you attach to the parcels. Then, ParcelForce who picked up the parcels made a mess. They attached the wrong tracking number to each box. I suddenly receive an email from Parcel Monkey claiming that I had declared the wrong weight, stating that I declared a higher weight than I actually did. The weight they claimed was triple what I actually wrote. I was then automatically charged for this, with the wording in their email trying to discourage you from disputing the charge, because apparently, their partner uses "laser technology" to confirm the measurements. Which must be absolute lies and deceit, read on for proof and I am convinced they are deliberately trying to get more money off trusting customers. Then, I receive only 1 item. The tracking number is shown on ParcelForces website as delivered. I contact the courier in my country who delivered the parcel to me, and they state there was only ever 1 box in the tracking number they handled. So I contact PM for help, and from there it has only been incompetence and time wasting. I MYSELF found that there was a second tracking number which was supposed to be on the other box and I inform PM of this. On ParcelForces website, this number was not updated. They stated they would raise an inquiry with ParcelForce, but I had to chase them up cos nothing happened. They hadnt even tried to see where my missing parcel was. They messed me around making me describe the contents THREE times even though they have the details already in my booking number. Making me fill in a claims form, uploading irrelevant documents and not doing anything about it. Turns out, the claims form was as if I was trying to get money back for a lost parcel, even though that was not my query. I only wanted them to find out where it was and get it to me. Then, suddenly I receive the missing parcel. Turns out that the ParcelForce label was not on the box, explaining why the boxes were separated in transit and why the tracking wasnt updated. (ripped off during shipping somehow maybe?) Luckily for me, the courier in my country had weighed and measured both parcels themselves, proof of the actual weights provided! Lucky that I had written my address on the actual cardboard box and not just attached it, because then my local courier wouldnt have been able to get the box to me! I then took pictures of the parcels at home on a scale, also with measurements and advised PM of this in my case, expecting this to finally confirm that I was wrongly charged, and that this would be the end of it. But no! The next thing they ask is for me to provide more pictures with the measurements for one box! Even though the measurements is not what they wrongly charged me for, it was for the weight, which my pictures and the local courier proof clearly shows! They are trying to keep this ridiculous debacle ongoing as if I am trying to get money back for something I am not entitled to? This should be the easiest case of refunding a customer they have ever seen, but somehow they insist on being completely incompetent and wasting my time. I did the whole investigation for them and explained in detail, with proof attached they whole way, and yet they seem incapable of just doing what they are legally obligated to.

EVRI was the selected carrier for my parcel; we always receive excellent service from our local Evri courier service and this delivery to a close friend, was no different, thank you.
Parcel Monkey is a new service to me; so glad it selects the best courier to meet our needs.
