Parcel Monkey is well organised and is very quick and professional at the UK end. I have recently sent three separate parcels to my daughter in Lusaka, Zambia. There are problems at that end. Door to door delivery has taken three to four weeks - greatly in excess of the quoted transit. There are probably several reasons but two that parcel Monkey could help with are these: (1)Requiring the recipient to quote an airway bill number before the parcels are released - yet you do not appear to advise this reference. (2)Your Lusaka representative (often DHL) have not made sufficient effort to to pinpoint the consignees address so that in every case she has to collect from the Lusaka DHL office.

Sadly, Parcel Monkey (PM) forgot that customers have rights. Their customer service deserves the lowest star possible - despite having used them successfully in the past. I sent a package to the West Indies and, after being picked up by ParcelForce, I tracked it to a depot in Reading. A few days later I got a message from PM telling me that the package had been "processed for a return as despite making several attempts the courier was not able to deliver the item". PM later confirmed the package was still in the UK but now they wanted me to pay to have it returned. I asked for a complete refund and they refused outright despite overwhelming evidence that showed the package was still in Reading. So, long story short, I exercised my right to claim a refund from my Card Provider. I paid to have the package returned then I claimed for all my postage costs from my Debit Card provider using Chargeback and got an immediate refund. Moral... pay by Debit or Credit Card, Communicate with PM and keep messages as evidence. Then, if Debit Card, claim via Chargeback up to £100 or, if Credit Card via Chargeback or Section 75 up to £30,000. Youll need to wait at least 15 days before making a claim.

5 weeks and pallet still not delivered, paid for next day delivery... Only misleading answers from Parcel Monkey staff that they contacting courier..... I complained and the same misleading answers they passed it to relevant department..... and so on....

I have used Parcel Monkey roughly 30 times to send whisky and gin to customers, never had a problem until my last (and now final) order. My business sends alcohol to customers and the Parcel Monkey prices are very good. In a recent order, DPD delivered a parcel, they said they delivered it and the customer signed for it but then just photographed it and left it in the customers garden in an open space and so the customer never actually took the parcel from the driver. The customer said they therefore never received it (maybe someone took it from the garden as its in a high traffic area) and I wanted to understand who was actually at fault, the driver or the customer. This is where everything went wrong - although DPD allow you to send alcohol, Parcel Monkey do not, they prohibit a lot of items (to be fair to them they state this on a page although it wasnt clear when I initially sent the alcohol to customers) clearly to take the easy way out and avoid having to do any work and pay out to customers. To be clear I accept this is my fault for not checking, but Parcel Monkey prohibit a lot of items to get out of having to do much. I asked for them to open a case with DPD to at least know who is at fault so I know whether to refund the customer or not. Its now MORE THAN 7 WEEKS LATER and theyve just stopped replying, havent let me know the outcome, DPD cant tell you as Parcel Monkey own the account and the service staff at Parcel Monkey are beyond useless. There is zero proactivity, Ive asked every day for an update and they just keep saying sorry someone will come back to you but no one ever does, no phone number, nothing. Im actually astonished how a company can operate like this and not care about following up they just wash their hands with it all, its one of the worst experiences Ive ever had and Ive given up. If you want to send a quick parcel and the contents are under £50, Id use Parcel Monkey, its an easy service and if anything goes wrong then you can swallow it. However for anything over £50 they have to be avoided, they seem to be unable to undertake any task beyond the simple ones and no one seems to listen, you will have more success talking to a brick wall.

Would never ever use or recommend parcel monkey, horrible service, they quote for delivery was 4-7 days, its been 14 days now and my parcel is still not delivered, contacted customer service many times all they do is give me information I already know, why would you charge someone money and not give them the service you promise!

Parcel monkey only gave me one choice of parcel force to send my parcel to NZ WITH 4-6 days fir delivery It was uplifted on the 15th June the tracking today tells me it arrived in NZ on the 22nd June but has not arrived at the distributor yet and today it’s their 24th June have no idea when my parcel will be delivered to my daughter in NZ NOT HAPPY

The ebay item I ordered was arranged to be collected last Friday from a seller who listed the item as "Collection in person". The Parcelforce courier collected the parcel with the label I had sent the seller using the Parcel Monkey link. Unfortunately this courier also put his own label on a large parcel that had just been delivered by Yodel and removed this as well. There were therefore two parcels removed with the same tracking number. On Tuesday, the incorrect parcel with cardboard boxes arrived at my address. Having received the wrong item, my initial thought was that the seller had put the label I sent him on the wrong parcel. The seller assured me that he had not and that a Yodel parcel they had been expeced, was not there so he assumed that Parcelforce (on behalf of Parcel Monkey) had removed it together with the correct parcel. I spoke to Parcelforce who assured me that what the seller had told me could not have happened and implied that the seller was lying to cover himself. He also told me that a second parcel with the same tracking number could not be in the system. This has caused unnecessary bad feeling between me and the seller. On Wednesday the correct parcel arrived with the same tracking number and the label I had sent the seller, vindicating everything the seller had said. Whilst I have had to eat humble pie with the seller, I at least got the part I ordered. However, I also have a large parcel belonging to the seller. He has had to arrange collection from my address and deliver to his address at a cost of £25 to him so he is not happy. This has been a nightmare and wasted hours of my time.

So my 48 hour parcel took 240 plus hours to be delivered , 168 hours to be picked up from drop off point and 72 hours from drop off to delivery . THE RESPONSE WAS 2.6. Compliance with the estimated time of collection or delivery is not guaranteed and the company shall not be liable for late deliveries unless there is valid evidence of a period of 5 working days from the date the goods were scheduled to be delivered. 2.7. You will be responsible to ensure that the correct goods are available to be collected by the Carrier from the collection address on the scheduled collection date. You should ensure that you or a trusted representative are physically present at the time of collection. The company shall not be liable for late collections, including those from Post Offices, courier depots or store locations unless there is valid evidence of a period of 5 working days from the date of goods were scheduled to be collected or dropped off. 3.8 The company disclaims all liability for any consequential loss arising from, or in connection with, the services supplied by the Company and its agents. For the purpose of this Agreement, Consequential loss shall include, but not be limited to (i) Pure economic loss (ii) Loss of profits (iii) Losses incurred by any third party (iv) Loss of revenue (v) Loss of goodwill and reputation (vi) Loss of opportunity (vii) Loss of work. I booked a same day courier through parcel monkey, with the option to book a specific 5 minute time slot. The courier arrived an hour early, the parcel was not ready, and the driver was rude and threatened to drive off without the package. I rushed to get everything ready which cost my business. There was then no tracking available for the package, and when I contacted parcel monkey, they made no attempt to find the tracking or resolve the issue. I paid over £50 for this service and would have been received a better result if I had simply put the package in an Uber, and I would have paid less.
