Please avoid this company, I paid (very cheaply via parcelforce) to have a parcel sent in the UK. Two days later it was sent back to me with a new label with my name and address on. Despite several promises the parcel was never re-collected. Parcel monkey said they had cancelled the order and they would send a refund. Despite many requests they later refused. Im afraid the old adage remains true, if you pay peanuts, you can only expect monkeys!!! AVOID THIS SCAM!!!

My collection was suppose to happen the following day but did not happen. Royal mail pickup on behalf of ParcelForce for my post code. When I asked the postman why he was not picking up my parcel he said it was not on his list to do so. The next day I was not able to contact Parcel Monkey because it was a weekend and they only do email. I tried to contact my local post office but was put through to Devon about 800 miles away and they were not even aware that they pickup on behalf of Parcelforce and said it was nothing to do with them. I contacted Parcelforce and they said I would need to contact Parcel Monkey, so I had gone full circle without getting any further. When my parcel was eventually collected by Royal mail the receipt left for me showed a different tracking number to the one that was given to me by Parcel Monkey. When I contacted Parcel Monkey about which tracking number should be used they said use the tracking number given by the Post Office. What the feck happened to the one given by Parcel Monkey? No explanation was given which is unacceptable!!!

This is my second review for this company. My first was a 5 star as i have never had a issue with a parcel. However upon my first problem, which was a parcel being stuck in Jersey with Parcel Force, i then got to experience this companies customer service. There is a lack of urgency with this company when it comes to trying to help. My parcel tracking hadnt updated for 7+ days and all parcel monkey would tell me on live chat is we have sent a email to parcel force we are waiting for a response. This went on for over 2 weeks and i messaged every couple of days to get the same response. I phoned parcel force myself but they told me they needed to be contacted by parcel monkey. Parcel monkey would not call parcel force as they tell me they have no phone lines. Very odd for a company to not be able to make phone calls to help their customers and this to me is a lazy attitude and it came across as them not being that bothered in helping me. This parcel was a order for one of my customers. It ended up taking 3 weeks to be delivered and i had to keep telling him the poor excuse of we are waiting to her back from parcel force. I will still use parcel monkey as their website is very easy to use for sending parcels to address which isnt in the UK mainland. However i really hope they read reviews like this and aim to improve their customer service.

Awful company went ahead and took an £48 from me without my consent for a parcel Id already paid for. Ive tried to contact them but I received nothing. ABSOLUTELY AVOID!!! NO telephone contact no response for emails outraged

Paid for a 2-4 day DPD service to send to USA. (Intended date, birthday was Day4). Reached destination on Day 6. Updates through ParcelMonkey were poor. Updates on DPD website using DPD tracking code far more frequent... if a little muddled (three updates at a time and in possible wrong order - eg, Parcel has left UK followed by later time Parcel in transit location: UK, which made no sense). Unsure Id use again for posting to America.

Absolutely awful company to deal with. Communications is dreadful they fail to let you know when your delivery won’t be collected. Every time you contact them you are told to just print off a label and the parcel will be picked up the following day between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm this happened for three days running. When they eventually decided to collect the parcel the parcel got lost and now they are refusing to refund the money for the parcel or the money I have paid for the parcel to be delivered??? Courier have confirmed they will refund the money to Parcel Monkey as they lost the parcel but parcel monkey won’t refund me. Avoid this company at all cost!

Purchased DPD delivery through Parcel Monkey, dropped off my item at the DPD pick up shop at 9am Monday 7th Feb the Item then didnt even get collected by DPD until 12:30 Thursday 10th Feb. The item was receiving a scan each morning at the pick up shop, just not going anywhere.

The service was okay. Two issues Ive found: 1. It took around 15 days to reach from UK to Netherlands. 2. Customs charges need to be paid additionally by the customers which is not mentioned at the time of ordering.

Booked a parcel under the 48 hours express service. Which actually took 6 days. Contacted parcelmonkey to complain and they simply told me tough- it’s not guaranteed. Terrible service .

Overall good, but my barcode would not scan and the person who picked up my parcel was reluctant to help. Only on my insistence he put the details in manually. Keeping my fingers crossed that my parcel arrives at its destination.
