Nice and easy to sort and parcel arrived on time

Parcel stuck in customs in japan. A christmas gift was sent to japan for my son , its now to many days in and 8 email and converstions with UPS requesting an unaccompanied baggage form , the receiver my son is being asked to go to the airport with a declaration form , passport immigration certificate, visa , parents job declaration etc to pick up a few pairs of socks ski gloves and what were some secret wrapped xmas presents , which are now fully declared and not a surprise .....His work colleagues never hear of this before , Parcel monkey has no phone number , doesnt respond to email . shambles ....UPS will receive the same rating .

Cheap, but can be frustrating, they don’t seem to use a up to date Royal Mail database of addresses, (over 2 years old) so have to enter manually. When you do select an address (from postcode) sometimes it’s too long to fit on its line ! They need to amend their maximum character lengths. Be careful with package values. If you book directly with a courier, more often than not it will include several hundred pounds of insurance cover, as standard. Parcel monkey will charge you more than the cost of sending your package, just for the insurance!!!

Excellent service at a good price. Large package sent from UK to US west coast via UPS. Collected promptly and delivered 4 days later at a price that was less than using UPSs own website. Couldnt ask for more.

I booked my parcel with UPS via Parcel Monkey on Monday afternoon and was told it would be collected on Tuesday between 9am and 5pm. On Tuesday I received an email at 4.51pm notifying me that the parcel had been collected which it hadnt. I then expected the parcel to be collected first thing Wednesday which it wasnt. On Thursday afternoon I phoned customer services at UPS to complain about their service and they said the collection would be made on that day before 4pm which it was. On Friday our customer complained of non-delivery and cancelled the order so we have since had to pay for its collection from our customer (in Eire) so the whole experience has been a disaster!! UPS agreed to deliver the parcel FOC but to date, Parcel Monkey havent passed this on. On top of this Ive had to pay for a remote collection from Eire which was considerably more expensive than the original delivery cost.

Seems to be a sharp practice of charging for insuring valuables then in the small print, excluding valuables. Not impressed. Should be illegal. Either you pay for extra insurance and your item is insured or you dont you cant have it both ways.

Ease of booking, pickup, and on time delivery

I have used Parcel Monkey for many years, mostly without issue. Recently though, their service and communication has deteriorated drastically. Now any shipments that have not, or could not be delivered, are returned to Parcel Monkeys office and not the sender and despite my efforts and enquiries they still have two of my shipments at their office with no effort made to return them to me - the sender. One of which they have had for over a month! So PLEASE BE AWARE that if your shipment does not get delivered, it will be returned to the office of Parcel Monkey and youll find it difficult and time consuming to recover your, or your customers property. Heres a transcript of my many recent messages in an effort to get my shipments to me. Note the absence of any replies from Parcel Monkey. They simply no longer care! You Sunday 8th December 2024 @ 16:19 Its been a month since I posted this and your returns department has still not contacted me. Can we consider it lost and make a claim? Thanks Maureen from Parcel Monkey - No reply You Wednesday 4th December 2024 @ 18:14 Do you have a number for your Returns Team, as they have still not contacted me and I posted the item three weeks ago? You took my order, I paid the quote for Next Day collection. It was picked up 2 days after the order, no explanation. The package was delivered. I then subsequently received notice Id been undercharged and you helped yourselves to £52 from my PayPal. I immediately notified you that there was an error (my pkg was 7kg but you claim the estimate was 40kg, and the actual was 50kg???). I was informed the relevant department would be in touch within 24hrs. Its now 3 working days and I have had zero response or explanation. That is really poor customer service.

Excellent and reliable service.Easy to negotiate website. Competitive prices. Option to post or have collected. Parcel arrived in USA from UK on time. Used Parcel Monkey for several years now and will continue to do so. Highly recommended

Awful service, parcel not collected on 2 occasions and so lost the sale on eBay. The mains problem is that you cannot directly call to discuss options.

I put in all my details. Chose the service I wanted which cost under £5, added extra insurance, which cost under £3. When it took me to the next page, the bill had jumped up to over £26. Was not happy, went back and changed to a different delivery service and got it all for under £10.
