I had been recommended to Parcel Monkey by a work colleague so I trusted their judgement! I wish I hadnt! I thought everything had gone smoothly I was booking a collection via Parcel force 24h collection for today delivered to me tomorrow before 12 so I paid extra for this! Pathetic! My contact messages me and says the parcel hasnt been collected and he has waited in all day so I contact via the live chat as there is NO PHONE NUMBER. And I then get responses to my questions from someone obviously reading a script! No apology they only advised that they cannot speak to the courier because they dont have a phone? What?? Who doesnt have a phone? My eleven year old has a phone! Then I thought I would contact Parcel Force direct, the tracking number that Parcel Monkey gave me doesnt even work its not recognised! What is going on?! So I am back on the live chat asking how they are going to resolve this, the operator ghosts me and then I get a message saying they are closed and they have no even rebooked the collection!!! Rubbish service, rubbish company overall they need to get in the bin since I am a new customer and its been a **** experience from start to finish! Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely dreadful... paid £50 for collection and delivery to me with parcel force 48. No email sent other than would be collected Monday.. no one turned up to collect it. Sent me email sayong no one was in when they were. No door card left. Tried to get hold of parcel monkey. My password didnt work. Tried to reset it never received email link to change password so cant get into account to find out whats going on. Had to rearrange delivery no way of getting £50 back.. utter rip off.. do not trust this service at all. Then to top it all when supplier took item to post officr same service parcel force 48 was £28.. not £50... disgusting. Fuming

First I was a little worried about parcelmonkey, because I was sending quite a few boxes from London to Switzerland, with a lot of personal worth to me.
But I want to say, this is an amazing service, totaly costumer friendly, reliable, just in general a great service! And the prices are even better!
Even during the Covid pandemic, everthing was smoothly, and I really recommend this service to anyone!

im still awaiting refund from these… im still awaiting refund from these monkeys as there courier never collected last thursday after waiting in all day and promised it would be collected best part is 7 days on and no refund at all from these monkeys so i dont reckon i will get it best part is i see loads of reviews where they go into customers bank account and take money from there account think ill stick with HERMES ow after all sent hundreds with them and never had any hassle i send 2 parcels with these monkeys and get a load of hassle and no refund you should be called parcel- con- monkeY WHERE IS MY REFUND YOU MONKEYS BEEN A WEEK NOW ??????

It was quick and easy. Information was clear enough although despite having a prohibited and restricted list it was still a bit tricky to determine whether you would actually carry these goods or not. Yes its a comprehensive list but I still had to work at it to find my item! (or at least something similar)

I booked a parcel collection with DPD through ParcelMonkey, there was some mixup with DPD which meant that my parcel was not collected within the time slot. I tried contacting ParcelMonkey about it several times throughout the day and was told by chat (there is no phone number to talk to an actual person) that the collection window ran until 18:00 and to wait until then. After that I was told that it was too late to do anything and that my only option was to rebook for the next day or cancel. I had already said multiple times that day that I was moving to a different country the next morning and could not rebook it. ParcelMonkey were of no use whatsoever and actively prevented me from sorting the problem out sooner. We eventually managed to contact someone at DPD directly who did what they could but it was too late, so they told us we could drop it off at a pick up shop without changing any labels or doing anything extra, which worked. Had ParcelMonkey been of any use at all we could have sorted it out much sooner and avoided a huge amount of stress (and extra cost to get a taxi to a pick up shop before it closed for the day). I would never recommend ParcelMonkey, if necessary use it to compare couriers prices, but always book directly with the courier.

Poor service. Though most of the blame was Courier. Parcel Monkey was not much help. I booked a Courier to collect a parcel on a Monday. No one came to collect it. Then I got a email to say they would collect on Tuesday. Again no one came to collect. I sent a email off to Parcel Monkey. Then Wednesday arrived and I managed to get onto live chat with Parcel Monkey. They told me they couldnt contact Courier to see if they was collecting that day. No one came to collect on Wednesday. Thursday came around and I got a email from Courier saying they will attempt to collect today and they actually did collect it and was delivered to the buyer on the Friday. I paid the extra so the buyer could get it on Tuesday but didnt get it until the Friday. I wont be using Courier again and I doubt ill use Parcel Monkey again.

I booked this on a next day delivery because it was urgent and chose Courier,It was collected no problem then around 5pm on the delivery day I got an irate message from the customer demanding to know where her parcel was and saying the tracking number Id supplied simply said delayed and shed tried phoning Courier to be met with an automated service that after youd gone through the options, added the tracking number etc a recorded message said your parcel has been delayed and contact sender then hangs up! I tried using every option and you cant speak to anyone, Their website contact us section says emails can take upto 4 days to get a reply!! messenger can take up to 2 hours to reply so I had to use that option. My message sent at 16:42 explaining the situation that the tracking says delayed at 7:59 am that day and asking where is my parcel? when will it be delivered? why wasnt I contacted when they had phone and email addresses? Was replied to at 18:56 with "Hi Vince, I can see your parcel was collected yesterday however it was not moved on to the delivery depot in time for delivery today. This is now scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Thanks Tom" I was very angry I deal with customers and when you cant complete your job on time you contact the customer, give an explanation of why and try your best to keep them happy. On this occasion I paid for a next day delivery that wasnt completed on time and I had to do the chasing up to find out what was going on which is ridiculously slow and over complicated to get a simple question answered and got a less than satisfactory reason for the delay and no explanation as to why I hadnt been contacted!
